In my opinion, REVOLUT should be shut down by regulators in all countries. My story:
Never used my card. It was an incentive card from my company. We had the option to move our incentive bonuses to the Revolut card, and it seemed like a good idea. Ha!
I was saving the $295 for a weekend getaway. I NEVER used the card. Stayed in my wallet. The card was NOT lost or stolen.
All of a sudden, multiple attempts were made to use my card all over the United States. Contacted the chat customer service - Ridiculous that this is the only way to dispute, and is a huge red flag.
Bottom line: To their (only) credit, Revolut did flag the suspicious, multiple attempts. Once I confirmed the charges were fraudulent, they canceled my card, and gave me a new card, because they could see it was obvious fraud.
Now they refuse to refund my card for one charge that was "Delayed", and eventually moved to "Reverted" status. The transaction, as with all the other fraudulent charges, shows the charge with a strike (line) through it, so Revolut is not paying the vendor. Yet, they still won't refund me!
Quick note - The charge was to a health club that is 685 miles from my home!
Pull out all of your money, cancel your card, and have your friends do the same. This company is conducting business in a way that borders on criminal activity, and breaks VISA's Zero Liability Policy, which promises fraudulent funds to be returned within 5 business days of the report being filed.
Note, with my attachment, it states I have not been charged, yet I have not been refunded the money....”
“I was scammed recently the scammers took control of a device of mine and made a Revolut account without my knowledge to transfer the money from my personal bank that they stole into the Revolut account. Firstly how can a Bank generate a new account without seeing a Driving Licience or Passport for confirmation of ID.
I have emailed numerous time to get this account closed that was in my name and guess what they will answer or cancel this account.

You can only speak via the chat and whoever is in that chat doesn’t know the answer to anything, probably a bot. so you have to wait a few minutes to receive a response even on the most basic questions, and 99% if the time the answer is that they will work on the problem and get back to you, which they don’t. The few times I have received a reply it’s been wrong, as they give general answers and not specific to your account or your market. Ruins my day every time I have to speak to them. No other way to contact them. Useless. Over 400 pounds have been taken from my account , contacted them and they allowed another transfer to be made. Few days ago I was in South Africa traveling. I got my card stolen on the way . When I realize someone took money from my account. I block the card immediately. Less then one hour. I report it to police. I check where was the money taken and google maps and it shows that the place is permanently closed. They saw someone try to take money start with 2500 us and went down few times because there was not enough, at the end they took 350 us twice. I open the case with revolut and they denied it. I ask them reopen the case and they just keep sending me message they didnt fined any trace of fraudulent and canot provid any details why they denied. What the hack? Its absolutly obvious it wasnt me, police report atc. And arogancy of customer service unbelievable. As i see Revolut doesnt cover stolen cards fraud like my other cards where i have even have 72 hours back on any transaction that i didnt make it.
My recommendation is stay avay from revolut. Little cheaper fee doesnt worth it. Luckily i had only 800us on the account.”

1 on 5 because I had few bad adventures with Revolut.
1rst they have scammers registered on their bank with false identity.
I had a bad story with a scammer and made a transfer. It was proven that it was fake ID, and they did not want to refund a transfer. This should not be possible for an online bank, and they should verify that the Passport and Id actually exist.
2nd : They blocked my card with no reason in critical moment during a trip, that made me cost money and did not assume for their fault.
while buying a flight, Revolut blocked my car when trying to buy a travel insurance associated to the flight.
Now I tried to buy the insurance separately from my flight, but now it was 80 usd more than prices I had along with my flight
So I wrote to Revolut support to ask the to pay the difference.
Why I would pay the 80$ difference if they blocked my card while doing a regular transaction ?
They just refused...
Strangely seconds following the purchage of my flight, I received a notification from Revolut on my phone proposing to upsale their own travel insurance.
I highly suspect them to block my card to upsale their insurance services.”
