“My wife and I paid for the metal plan and when we needed to use the SmartDelay benefit, we were told that we didn't have access even though our flight was delayed for almost 3 hours. Bad service and bad staff.
Let's cancel our plans.

“On 29 March 2022, I tried to transfer an amount of DKK 4322 (≈ EUR 581) from Revolut to SaxoBank, where I have my share savings account. The transfer was rejected by SaxoBank, which returned the amount to the Revolut account from which I transferred the amount with the reason that the name of the sender did not match the name appearing on my receiver account at SaxoBank. SaxoBank assured me that they have returned the money to my Revolut account and that the amount would be visible in my Revolut account within 5 working days.
It is now 1 March and the amount has still not been returned to my Revolut account, but Saxo has confirmed on several occasions that the amount HAS indeed been returned to my Revolut account and that the extended return time of the amount is probably due to Revolut having a common 'pool' to which the money is being transferred back to, where it will then has to be redirected to the specific Revolut user's account.
I have tried to contact Revolut’s support through their only platform (chat) several times now and each time, you are told that they have contacted the payment processor, but NOTHING happens! I'm being made a fool of and held hostage in the process and being tossed around between several different agents in chat, with one Aleena even taking the cheek to close my chat despite the problem being in no way resolved!
I am appalled that in these inflationary times, Revolut is holding its customers hostage over a simple bank transfer that should take no more than 5 working days to process, and that in this way it is behaving with complete indifference and disrespect towards your and my money.
I am furious at the treatment I have received from Revolut and I expect to receive my money back and appropriate compensation for the pain and suffering I have suffered as soon as possible, otherwise I will be forced to take legal action to get MY money back!”
“TERRIBLE!!! I wanted to close my account and withdraw my money. Communication is virtually non-existent and I found it impossible to do this. After many weeks I have changed tactic and decided to renew my card and withdraw my money that way. You guessed it - it is impossible to get anywhere with the company. Revolut still has my money and I can't get it back. BEWARE!!!”
“I would give zero stars if could. The bank is convenient fr small transactions but it is completely unsafe and is systematically being used for fraud. The bank will not reimburse you and they will offer minimal support. I was recently scammed and got a negative response in getting a refund, although I immediately informed them and cooperated completely. Please choose another bank if you want your hard-earned money to be safe.”
“Not helpful at all. I had issues logging in and the only way to reach them on live chat was from a friends account. When i talked with them they told me that they could not do absolutely nothing. So i guess there is nothing else to do. Iv also sent them an email and the response time is up to 14 days. Your support system is trash. No need to have one.”

I was scammed on Revolut, someone used my card to make an online payment and I was not refunded.
This should never happen as I am supposed to "allow" any transaction from the app.
The customer service is the worst: robots or stupid people unable to help or even to reply messages.

I had to download an app to talk to someone who did not help (my bank did) I have never held an account with them and this is a warning to others, be careful their security is a horror show!”

I paid for the metal membership because I wanted all of the benefits Revolut supposedly offer but I'm sure it’s some kind of scam!
My flight was delayed for over an hour, and I registered in the app to receive free lounge passes (which revolut says it offers) but I never received them and ended up purchasing myself.
I have tried to contact customer services for several problems I have had recently however - there is no customer service number and on the live chat the agents leave you hanging without response.
As other users have said on here use a reputable company avoid Revolut like the plague!!”
“Absolutely terrible!! Avoid if you somehow can. Go with a regular bank. This is such a mess! I guess as long as the app is working, everything is okay, but please do not expect any kind of help in case of a technical issue, app bug or any other problem you might have. It is nearly impossible to get in touch with Revolut. Considering they are an institution holding your money, all your alarm bells should go off when you read this here. When you talk to them you’re talking to a useless computer program and only in rare cases with real people.”

“Lost for words on how bad this bank is. Customer service is beyond useless. Had a child left stranded as couldn’t pay for his school bus as Revolut blacked his card for no reason. Still can’t unblock it after they have told me 5 times the issue is sorted. Still not. No humans to talk to just robots. Complete scam”
“I got a premium card €7.99 pm to trial, tried contacting customerservice to no avail. I terminated the card and went back to using the "free" card.
They sent an email saying my card had to swapped for free.
Within a few days of me syarting to ise the new card they wete chargimg me again.
Thanlfully many people are beginning to realise is a joke bank.”
“Revolut isn't serious about the business they are in. Its not a functioning banking app. Therefore, I believe there is a risk of losing your money. They don't have no customer services, Better to stay out of this app. There are many other similar service providers who offer much better and cost effective services.”
“I think that their customer support is with third parties in foreign countries. They aren't interested in finding out what happened, they don't read the replies we send to them. I mean, the fact that there actually isn't a phone line, so a human being to speak to, says it all. They don't want to have to speak to their customers. I am now looking at Wise for all my banking needs - I just wish Wise didn't have all those transfer fees but maybe it's worth putting up with those for a better banking service.”
“The worst support ever. Still waiting 2 weeks for a wire transfer. Sent them the wire reference and nothing. They asked for a bunch of senders info. Name, Surname, account number, bank code* Beneficiary’s account details: Name, Surname, account number, bank code* * Payment details: Amount, currency, date of payment, payment reference, type of payment (SWIFT/SEPA/ Faster Payment/ etc). Really a joke. They simply don't care or they don't even read your messages. Stay way from them.”
