Excellent service very helpful a lot of stress of my mind and I haven’t had too do nothing just take a couple of phone calls

Through site I filled out forms for a rapid refund, took a while to hear from someone so in the end I called to find out what was happening. While on the phone lady apologized and asked for me to send in forms and documents again, even tho when on line I had them attached when requested on form, in the email I stated that if any problems or further information needed then to please contact me. Again some days past and eventually someone got back to me saying needed more information, which I then sent same day. Again time past and no contact so I called and find out person doing it is then away, I then said this was supposed to be a rapid refund and after seeing on system mistake they then past it on to someone, who then got it sorted but as past timeline was unable to get a rapid refund and have to wait.

Thank you for your feedback Lee and I am sorry for the delays you have experienced. To be eligible for our RIFT RAPID REFUND, there is a criteria to meet and it is unfortunate that we were unable to offer this to you. I will send a private message to advise on this further.

Nothing wrong with the experience so to speak, however feeling slightly ripped off as colleagues have just informed me of an alternative company which would have cost me a £90 flat rate in comparison to the £600+ commission that rift have deducted. Won't be using again.

Thank you for the feedback Stephen, our fee is based on many factors from the service we provide, the after care once the claim complete and the RIFT Guarantee, we also open evenings and Saturday Mornings. If ever you change your mind then give us a call.

Difficult to get in contact with agent. Often no reply to calls/emails for days. Agents also have requested the same information several times when it has already been submitted.

This is the third time (3 years) I've used rift to help do my tax refund and will probably be my last. The service this year has been too slow and I'm still waiting had the occasional txt but for me too get any really update I've had too call in. Got told a few different things 3-4 weeks wait each time think I'm in too the 6th week now and got another txt 4 weeks wait so 10 weeks... not good enough I liked rift and there services but this year it's been bad

I have used rift for many years now, the last 2 years I have had to double check my return as mileage and other things have been overloooked and any notes made in my book not read,the service feels like a conveyor belt of just put a safe figure down and they will be happy with that, I think I will opt for a more personal service next time where they will work to try claim as much back as possible for the customer.

4years each year u take 28% won't be using again charged over £700 when now i no I could have got done fore £125 !!

Rift ended up taking more than I did %% rate is too high compared to other company's out there will not be using again

They are quick to take your case but their after sales team is slow to deal with problems. They also round their fees up which is wrong and unfair on the soldier's who they are representing. When I complained I received a £25 amazon voucher but how many others have been ripped off. I wouldn't recommend RIFT. BE AWARE!

It seems a good deal, and the initial conversations made out how quick and easy this would be. However, after 7 months of angst, never ending phone calls (when you can get hold of your advisor) and tonnes of completed paperwork I have to say this is a pretty awful experience and I still have zero to show for it. I'm not holding any hope and I actually wish I had just done the tax return myself!

Hi Eric, Sorry that the process has been so painful for you, the recent delays have been on HMRC's end where they'd miscalculated your tax. I know it's frustrating that it's taking additional time but behind the scenes your adviser Jamie has put a lot of work into resolving those issues it's not anything you or we've done wrong it's just (bad) luck of the draw that they messed up your information. I've asked Jamie to give you a call today to discuss, he now has the correct figures from HMRC. Best, Robyn

Basically started my claim in Feb 15 and it should of been straight forward but I am still waiting now for a payout and we are now into Jul 15. Not impressed at all...........

The payments are fast and hassle free but the commission rate they take is far too high and as a result I will not be doing next years return with rift
