Great BBQ, as expected from Weber. However, not so great from Riverside/ Whitestores! 3 Days after ordering a product falsely advertised as being ’on special’ after overpricing it by £30, gets marked down by £90.00. This is unfair trading, and against requirements set out in the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008.

Delivery late, courier was rude and didn't even deliver to the door left it on drive. Your custumer service weren't helpful and long wait. Sent message, which I have never received a reply!

Ordered a weber barbecue for my sons birthday. Arrived badly damaged. Customer service is horrendous and slow to answer. We requested a new barbecue, which is what we had paid for, and they requested a spare part instead. When you pay for a NEW barbecue you don’t expect to receive a badly damaged one which was clearly like that when sent out! Very unhappy customer!

I went to Riverside as someone had recommended it to me and I thought it would be the easiest route for buying a barbecue. My grandfather purchased the barbecue as a gift and input the wrong postcode by mistake. White Stores tried to charge him £160 for changing the delivery address. We then cancelled the order (which they also charged us for) and tried again. We requested 2 man delivery but only 1 person turned up (a day later than they had told me) so I had to carry the barbecue myself down a flight of stairs. Unfortunately, you only speak to people at White Stores with these concerns who are quite unhelpful. It is not clear when making the purchase that riverside do not deal with the customer support themselves. I got the purchase in the end after about a month, but overall it was quite a difficult/ time wasting experience for the sake of a barbecue.

This review is belated as I have been away. Weeding my inbox, I found this request to 'rate Riverside out of 5' - so thought I'd give it. In August 2023 I purchased a gift card. There was an issue with not being able to use previously accumulated points to contribute to the purchase. I rang Riverside and was asked to email the manager explaining the issue. I did so on 20/08/23 and got an email reply the same day advising the manager would get back to me I chased it up on 08/09/2023 and still await a response....

Hi Kevin, Thank you for your review. I have taken a look into this and can see that your coupon generated on the 18th August is valid for 6 months after being redeemed. So despite being unable to place an order using your code, you are able to use this until it expires early next year. I can see that intially, I did email you to advise the reason for the points being unable to be redeemed is due to you placing the code into the gift voucher box and not the coupon code box at checkout. On this occasion, as a gesture of goodwill, we will refund the £2.00 back to your original payment method and please contact me if you have any further issues as I would be more than happy to help. The item was oversold so I was offered one instead of the four I ordered, Elected to take full refund as they were intended to be for bbq enthusiast friends of mine, Extremely disappointed, To be fair it's the first time riverside have let me down,

I have checked the tracking information for your order and can see that Parcelforce attempted delivery on November 30th. Very quick delivery of the 1st cushion. Sadly the zip was broken and there were dirty fingerprints on it. The cushion was a light colour. I ordered a replacement. Again very quick delivery. I ashes the driver if he minded if I opened the package before he went. The driver actually cut it open. I immediately saw that the smart plastic covering case was very dusty/dirty. I took the cushion out and saw dark patches on one side. The driver thought it looked like damp. He agreed to return both cushions. I got a refund and did not order a 3rd. Very disappointing.

I ordered 3 items in the Riverside sale. 3 days after my order confirmation I received an e-mail apologising saying that 2 of the items were no longer available and would I like a refund. Very disappointing.

I ordered 3 weber gas canisters and only 2 arrived. Limited communication regarding delivery and took over two weeks and no response from customer service when contacted regarding order status in the meantime. Very frustrating experience.

Order confirmation received, delivery notification received, then email to say out of stock and refund pending - extremely frustrating! Would not order from this site again!

Very disappointing. The table arrived damaged and unusable. I contacted Riverside immediately and received an acknowledgement but a week on and there is no sign of a resolution to this.

Goods not shipped. No information regarding delays or any form of contact after the requested explanation. After contacting sales, only received an automated email about delays due to Black Friday, in June. Currently trying to get a refund. Very poor
