I paid for next day delivery ie 25% of the price of the purchase. It didn’t arrive until 48 hours later. When I called I was told there was a cut off time of 3pm and my order was placed at 3.30. On Thursday. The parcel arrived Saturday morning. I was told during my conversation that I was lucky to receive then as the delivery company don’t work on Saturday, ! I accept that I didn’t appreciate a cut off time but why was my order and next day delivery accepted without referring back to me. I also received a message presumably from the delivery company on the Friday advising me the delivery had been cancelled. I email your company asking for an explanation on Friday, one was given but when I phoned your offices on Saturday they acknowledged they had received my email. Not very impressed, but purchase item was perfect as I had expected it to be. Only glad I didn’t order the bbq as well!,

Box came damaged . Grill has rust on it Top door has major scratches on it. Totally disappointed :(

Never received my item. Courier service terrible. One attempt and then sent to a dpd nowhere close to where I live at a cost of £4.99. John Lewis from now on

Great product but was let down terribly on this occasion Only got half order then told it must be in box like I’m stupid and then told sent separately then told was lost!!

I will never order anything from there again. I previously bought a BBQ from there and just got a lighter two weeks back. They have sold me an empty lighter and said I had to fill it with gas! It’s really shocking and if I wanted an empty lighter, I wouldn’t bother paying £14 for it. Customer service wasn’t helpful at all.

I have received the wrong item and attempted to contact Riverside regarding this over the past 10 days to no success. I find this highly unacceptable.

Ordered a Weber griddle from this company and it arrived with no packaging other than the branded Weber box. The box was badly damaged and torn, very disappointing as this was to have been a birthday present. I raised this with the support department only to be told I would have to return the griddle at my own cost to get a replacement. Whilst I understand that the company doesn't want to waste money on packing materials, when something arrives looking like it was bought in a second hand shop, a better solution should be found and not at the customer expense!

This is sort of unfair as Riverside have been nothing but helpful but I never got the table and the delivery company DX told Riverside that I refused the table as it was damaged . This is an outright lie as they never delivered it although I waited in for 4 days. Chris at Riverside dealt with the problem swiftly and courteously.

Dear Mark, Thank you for your review. I hope you can appreciate Black Friday is one of our busiest days. The item you ordered sold out online so fast our system couldn't keep up. We do have a live stock tracker but we couldn't have anticipated the hundreds of grates we had to be sold so quickly. However, you were called by a member of staff here to be informed about this and you were offered an alternative and a discount code to apologise. All the best Riverside.

Product arrived damaged, called and emailed and was told they would be in contact but haven’t. Very disappointed.

I’ve still not received these 2 bags of pellets. I arranged redelivery online for today (27th) , and have stayed in all day but have had nothing. This is after receiving the wrong package from dpd. 😡

I ordered a table & 2 chairs in April, the chairs were advertised as in stock and the table due at the end of the month. Once the order was confirmed I asked for the chairs to be delivered, but turns out they weren't in stock after all.By the end of July, i was still waiting for both the chairs and the table. Despite stock availability being misrepresented on the website, I do understand delayed deliveries of gardne furniture due to covid and Brexit challenges. What is hard to understand, is the complete silence from Riverside in the 4 months I was waiting, being treated a bit of a nuisance when I asked for an update on delivery timescales and ultimately being referred to 'Patrick', who was short, sharp and did little to build my confidence nor reflect well on the company. I am still waiting for a refund receipt for the cancelled chairs, and doubt very much I will buy from Riverside again.

Hi Neil, I have tracked your parcel and it was delivered to the safe place you requested, on the 30th July at 12:26pm. In place of a signature, DPD drivers are required to photograph the location where your parcel was left, which we can also provide you with. would leave 0 stars if i could, rubbish service from begining to end. said in stock with 5-10 day delivery when i pressed order button on 13th may21, finally delivered by (Palletways delivery company, rude, obstructive and also frankly useless, had to ring them twice to activate the order out of their depot in my home town(?!?!), ncouldn't give driver directions"because of the computer system"....) begining of July, after many calls to chase order...... ABSOLUTE RUBBISH COMPANY......

Not good, unfortunately! Our order was placed in March, but not delivered till the second half of June. One contact was made to say that there would a weeks delay, but nothing arrived. I contacted Riverside to see what was happening, but got no return call. The package finally arrived while we were on holiday! Sorry for the rating, but it wasn't good service.

Lousy information flow during ongoing 4 month product delay. When asked when the product would arrive (eventually promised June) the managing director, off his own back cancelled the order without any reason or explanation (apparently my request for delivery information didn’t contain enough niceties).
