Hi Andrew, Thank you for your review. You requested your whole order to be cancelled as unfortunately one of the items you ordered sold out online so fast our system couldn't keep up and you were called by a member of staff here to be informed about this. You were offered an alternative and a discount code to apologise. We don't feel the review you left justified what happened. All the best Riverside.

I’ve still not received these 2 bags of pellets. I arranged redelivery online for today (27th) , and have stayed in all day but have had nothing. This is after receiving the wrong package from dpd. 😡

I ordered a table & 2 chairs in April, the chairs were advertised as in stock and the table due at the end of the month. Once the order was confirmed I asked for the chairs to be delivered, but turns out they weren't in stock after all.By the end of July, i was still waiting for both the chairs and the table. Despite stock availability being misrepresented on the website, I do understand delayed deliveries of gardne furniture due to covid and Brexit challenges. What is hard to understand, is the complete silence from Riverside in the 4 months I was waiting, being treated a bit of a nuisance when I asked for an update on delivery timescales and ultimately being referred to 'Patrick', who was short, sharp and did little to build my confidence nor reflect well on the company. I am still waiting for a refund receipt for the cancelled chairs, and doubt very much I will buy from Riverside again.

Hi Neil, I have tracked your parcel and it was delivered to the safe place you requested, on the 30th July at 12:26pm. In place of a signature, DPD drivers are required to photograph the location where your parcel was left, which we can also provide you with. would leave 0 stars if i could, rubbish service from begining to end. said in stock with 5-10 day delivery when i pressed order button on 13th may21, finally delivered by (Palletways delivery company, rude, obstructive and also frankly useless, had to ring them twice to activate the order out of their depot in my home town(?!?!), ncouldn't give driver directions"because of the computer system"....) begining of July, after many calls to chase order...... ABSOLUTE RUBBISH COMPANY......

Not good, unfortunately! Our order was placed in March, but not delivered till the second half of June. One contact was made to say that there would a weeks delay, but nothing arrived. I contacted Riverside to see what was happening, but got no return call. The package finally arrived while we were on holiday! Sorry for the rating, but it wasn't good service.

Lousy information flow during ongoing 4 month product delay. When asked when the product would arrive (eventually promised June) the managing director, off his own back cancelled the order without any reason or explanation (apparently my request for delivery information didn’t contain enough niceties).

My experience so far has been poor I expect that Riverside is a good company trying to serve its customers well, but they are clearly clinging to an inaccurate picture as to what they have in stock and what they have dispatched. Ordered an Alexander Rose Bengal chair from Riverside. They seemed to be out of stock most other places, but the Riverside website said they were in stock - bit more than what I usually pay, but I was glad to find them. Riverside are a big Alexander Rose supplier and they have good reviews, so I trusted that the website was accurate. The next day I got an email from TNT saying it was being dispatched that day. Oh joy. Later the status changed to ‘being collected’. 2 contacts with customer service and I have been told it definitely is in stock, they wouldn’t have taken my money if it wasn’t in stock, it has definitely been dispatched to me, TNT are having problems. I spoke to TNT a week later (over 2 weeks after my order) and they confirmed that they have not collected the chair for delivery and the problem is at riversides end. I want to buy another 2 chairs but am waiting for them to come into stock elsewhere. As a general point - why do companies ask for reviews when they have still to provide the goods?

Terrible customer service. Bought wrong size wanted an exchange. Rude replies. And even had the cheek to not refund the whole amount - cost me £15 to return and then they deducted £12 from my credit. I wanted to use a business that may have appreciated a large sale in this climate but after care appalling - no wonder Amazon are doing so well.

So disappointed in not only not receiving my goods on the confirmed delivery date, but also having to speak to an incredibly patronising management team that showed no consideration to the needs of their customers.

Poor customer service. Paid for next day delivery but did not receive. When I emailed this fact, the reply was dismissive and quoted Ts & Cs. Had to make a phone call and still wasn’t offered any compensation until I asked. I was then begrudgingly refunded the huge sum of £1.51. This was my first order and it will definitely be my last, which is your loss. The customer service department needs lessons on how to give good customer service.

Disappointed as my partner got confused thinking she was getting briquettes alongside the toys for our kids. £12 for the toy box was very steep and not needed. Package has been stored away and won’t be used. Shame as picture was about misleading

Very bad Customer service from the owner. Waited for a an order to be delivered for 2 weeks was promised twice the driver was picking up concrete posts from their supplier on his way to me. The owner thought it funny that they couldn't fulfil the order. Would recommend MMM in Sheffield rather than these idiots for any fencing accessories you require don't waste your time on this place.
