“I bought tweed / leather satchel which looked great on the photos but on receiving it and barely opening the wrapping around the bag I realised that it was not what I thought I had purchased. The ‘leather’ decorations were not but a faux leather type plastic. I checked the description and it clearly stated that it had leather trims. Very disappointing and not worth the sale money I paid for it hence it was returned.”

“Fantastic customer service. I bought a pair of boots 8 months ago and the quality was wonderful. unfortunately the zip broke on one. I contacted Rydale to ask about getting it mended and they offered to replace them FOC. The CS team were absolutely lovely from start to finish, can't recommend them highly enough. And their boots are gorgeous.”

“It was the customer service agent that made be so happy. There is so much complaining these days and so little praise. Well, Lisa who I spoke with today showed exemplary customer service from the minute the conversation started. A tiny issue about an unusual button missing from the cuff of my new shirt when I opened the packaging was sorted with a call back within 5 mins of the first conversation. She'd searched in "the box of buttons" and found exactly what I needed. Lovely lady (ooops person) with a terrific telephone manner. Thank you x”

“Bought a brown Cottam leather hat size large for a friend. He is absolutely delighted with it! Very good communication and fast dispatch. The hat is of a very good quality and a fabulous price. One happy customer!”

“received 3 Huggate waistcoats as Christmas presents, having seen a celebrity chef wearing one, I picked out 3 colours. two ordered by my wife and one by my mother in law, my new favourite clothing. warm, soft, an incredibly comfortable since Christmas these have been worn every day so I will defiantly be ordering more colours”

“Do not buy shirts from this company. As you will see from many other posts, they do not reply to complaints. I have had two faulty shirts recently ( sleeve lengths 5 – 6 cms too long; longer than stated on the size chart) and all customer service said was reorder. I did and the new shirts were exactly the same. I then wrote a letter to the Managing Director simply asking if there was a problem with some batches from their Bangladeshi supplier. I have had no response, so obviously they don’t care about their customers and their supposed Quality Control is non existent.”

“I would never use this company again , items not as described and when you ring through to customer service the woman on the phone talks over you and doesn’t want to listen to the problem , I then emailed the company to complain and have had no response, that says it all .”

“I purchased a pair of Lady Gransmoor ii wellies for the princely sum of £74.99 - As I spent over £60 this qualified for free delivery. To my absolute surprise I received said boots but with a £65.00 price label on them! On contacting Rydale Clothing questioning this I was advised by their customer service advisor "Our garments have price labels on that they are sold at in our stores and at shows, when selling online we have to cover the cost of the listing fee's and postage, this is why the price is slightly increased" 1. "Slightly increased" equates to almost a 15% increase (hardly slight) 2. Their web page states that there is free postage over a £60.00 expenditure - I can't quite work that out when they have already charged me £74.99 instead of the £65.00 that my boots were labelled for. 3. This company has freely admitted to me that they are operating a dual pricing operation, however nowhere on their website explains this. I wrote them a review on their website submission form detailing all of the above but I very much doubt that they will be honest or transparent enough to publish it..... Be warned and purchase from them at your peril!!!”

“Bought the waxed cotton lady’s waistcoat for every day horse work and to carry my wagon keys in a safe deep pocket. Never had it off my back all winter so from a workwear angle it speaks for itself and looks smart too.”

“Purchased a cap on 23rd December not expecting or paying for next-day pre- Christmas delivery. My order was quickly acknowledge d and dispatched. Updates were received that day and 24th advising delivery 24/12/2020. Sure enough it arrived, excellent. The cap is tweed with leather peak, delivered and paid for less than &18.00 excellent. Price, quality and service.”

“Shopping with these monkeys was the worst customer experience that I ever had. The product was absolutely dreadful cheap Guangzhou rubbish. A country shooting jacket that actually felt more like a flip flop. But just wait until you actually try to return an item..... they actually charge you for the privilege of sending them their rubbish back! Amazing... I then called them to complain and some haughty young lady with a dreadful Yorkshire accent just quoted T&C's at me and then hung up. I have never actually experienced anything like it.”

“I ordered a hat, the size of the hat was smaller than what the website stated in its size guide. I went through the returns process, and was almost angry to discover that I had to pay £3 postage to return it (on top of the delivery postage). Not happy at all with this”

“Have always been pleased with Rydale clothes in the past but the quilted jacket was a false economy. Quilted stitching started to come undone on 2nd wearing and I wouldn't recommend it to others.”
