After reading rave reviews about the introductory bespoke facial, I decided to treat myself and book an appointment. It is apparently considered as one of the best facials you can get in London so I was really looking forward to it! What I experienced today was a nice facial, certainly pleasant, done by a professional. However, there was nothing exceptional about it, and it didn’t feel different from other facials I’ve done in London for a much lower price. My skin was nice after the teatment but again, nothing special either. What I really didn’t like on the other hand is that you are pressured to buy products and book more treatments, which is quite annoying and not particularly relaxing. I also found out that my treatment was 170 pounds instead of 165 because of the LED lights. It’s obviously not for the 5 pounds but it’s not what I had booked initially and I wasn’t aware that I had to pay more for this. I just didn’t find it very client friendly and again, it makes you feel like all they care about is your money. Basically, there are lots of other places where you can get equally nice but much cheaper facials. I’m happy to pay more if I get a real quality product, here I simply didn’t find it was justified. Don’t get misled by reviews in magazines that may be more trendy than objective...

Your delivery service is so slow - I waited nearly two weeks for a delivery and I only live in EC1. Not acceptable in 2016

having started off well - I had an e-mail from Scott to advise my goods would be delivered the Friday after I had ordered them - they didn't arrive and then I got an e-mail from your company only 3 days ago saying they were about to be despatched. I have not received anything and have advised Scott that I am now on holiday and the order needs cancelling. Not a good experience at all I am afraid

i read the sunday times review on the overnight facial which gave the product an outstanding review i immediately ordered it on line. It arrived a few days later with a complimentary sample of the dynamic day moisturiser which I tried the next morning and really loved so the intention was to buy a normal size. The following weekend evening I tried the overnight facial but was horrified to find upon wakening that my face was bright red and quite sore with ugly bumps all over it. I was horrified as I have never had a bad reaction to a product before it took two days to return to my normal fine textured complexion I contacted Sophie@ who immediately agreed to he exchange of the item for the skin moisturiser normal size so we basically did a swap over. I did return the product to them. Sophie ws a pleasure to deal with.

My skin reacted to the night serum. It reddened and I got a rash on my cheeks. Probably not fault of the product as I have sensitive skin. I should just stay with Estée Lauder which suits me

Products absolutely fine but customer service appears non-existent. I have contacted you at both orders@sarahchapman.net and info@sarahchapman.net regarding a missing gift and have not received any response.

Dear Jennifer Many apologies for any disappointment with the delivery time. Currently we specify a 5-7 day delivery on the website, however due to a recent internal stock take some orders may have been delayed slightly. Our apologies again. Package described as 'Shipped' 25 February, but 'No tracking numbers are assigned to your order yet.' Haven't as yet received (3 March)

When the voucher I had ordered for my mother's Christmas present arrived, I was rather excited and being a student £140 was a rather substantial present to give but I wanted to say a big thank you to my mother for helping me get through a very tough year. When I opened the voucher I was disappointed to find a voucher that was written in bad handwriting and did not look in the least bit as professional as I had expected. I have purchased vouchers before, usually from between £20 and £50 and they have always made great presents and looked professional. I wrote an email to your company explaining that I was displeased with the voucher and I felt listened to. The man with whom I corresponded with had gone to some trouble to find a solution which I was very pleased with. However, when this package arrived, it was a gift set, a lovely gift set, but there was no replacement voucher. This is all I really wanted, a replacement voucher that was professional and looked special. I don't want to sound ungrateful but after having received the package I was again rather disappointed, feeling that I hadn't been listened to at all. My mother is looking forward to coming to Sarah Chapman and having her facial and I am sure that she will love it, but it did cause me a lot of stress and disappointment.
