“Very poor customer service when it comes to returning faulty shoes. Shoes have to be returned to Head Office for inspection, which takes several weeks to resolve. Very disappointing for a large high street chain.”
“Schuh sent the wrong shoes (ordered women's, received men's). But Schuh doesn't offer free returns so had to pay out of my own pocket to return these. I should not be covering costs for their own mess up.”

Internet transaction was very poorly with Schuh (6th March 2021). I have made a payment for a pair of trainers, for which the process did not take more than 2 minutes. The payment "timed out", no confirmation of the order but transaction was made on my credit card. The Schuh's "Live" online customer service was not helpful at all. I have to wait apparently up to 5 days to get my money back only then to make another order.
Schuh - this is not acceptable customer service, or online shopping protocol, where you can't get even 2 minutes to complete your order, or get some timed warning to complete the order by certain time!
I would NOT recommend using Schuh online services, unless they make improvements.

“I ordered a pair of shoes online, only to receive the wrong pair (Wrong make and size) a few days later. When I rang customer service in Dublin, they were extremely unhelpful and rather rude. I had to return the wrong shoes to a nearby shop and get the ones I had originally ordered - completely defeated the purpose of ordering online. Also no apology!!!”
“I was looking for a pair of timberland boots for work and I just happen to stumble across Schuh online and I decided to purchased a pair. I placed the order on Sunday and I just receive it today Tuesday. The service is excellent and I love the fact that I could able to have an online chat with the customer service before the purchased. I could also able to see who I was speaking to which makes it more comfortable. I was sent text messages to keep me updated as to what time I should expect delivery. It is so convenient for me because I work nights, so I could able to get some rest before it arrive. I am more than happy with both the purchased and customer service. I will continue shopping with Schuh because my first purchased is without any problems. Thanks for your excellent service you deserve a 5 stars.”
