“Whilst in the cribbs causeway mall in kids schuh we wanted to get my grandsons feet measured. We asked for some help and was told someone would help shortly, so we looked at some shoes after a period of time I saw a sales lady standing there so asked her if she could help us, she replied someone will help shortly. Eventually someone did arrive and measured my grandsons feet we were told his size was 7 a little shocked as he had gone up 2 sizes in a short period of time we asked for some shoes in this size and tried them on we felt they were far too big and asked another sales lady if she could check them for us which she also said they were to big and remeasured his feet he was a 5.5 so advised us on a 6 and went and got that size whilst he tried them on the lady I originally spoke to standing there came over to the sales assistant handed her another shoe and asked her if she could get these and then said to her as you have been too long in a very off handed manner making us feel we were in the wrong the sales lady helping us went of to get the other shoe then came back to us and checked our grandsons feet to make sure these shoes were ok she could not have been more helpful if she tried and we apologised to her for being spoken to by who I now presume was your store manager in the manor she had, this lady needs to be taught some customer service etiquette she came across very rude and uncaring had my grandsons feet been measured correctly we would not have been in the store as long as we had.”
“Today I was in Nottingham city centre and bought a pair of trainers from Schuh. I was really pleased with the service, especially from the staff member Jordan. He was extremely kind, friendly, and helpful, and genuinely made an effort to help me find the perfect trainers for me. He took the time to listen and give useful advice, which I really appreciated. He also brought a great positive energy that made the whole experience even better.

I did not receive my order, yet it was repeatedly marked as “successfully delivered” to a neighbour. Despite explaining multiple times that the named recipient did not live at the address and that the neighbours confirmed they had not received the parcel, this was repeatedly dismissed.
By continuing to insist the delivery was successful, I was left feeling as though my account was not being believed, despite there being no photo proof and clear inconsistencies in the delivery details.
The issue went on for weeks and was only resolved after I personally escalated it with the courier, who later confirmed the parcel had been delivered to the wrong address. Although I was refunded ( AFTER A MONTH, and only because an executive at FedEx confirmed the mistake after I personnel escalated it). the delivery fee was still deducted despite the service not being completed.
This process took nearly a month, caused unnecessary stress, and has completely undermined my trust in Schuh’s customer service. I will not be ordering from them again.”
“Schuh as a company were very prompt, they sent my order out for delivery almost immediately but unfortunately Thier choice of courier lets them down hugely!
They use evei to deliver there merchandise and it's now been almost 2 weeks trying to get my order!
Firstly they don't give an option of when they can deliver so you can not ensure someone is home to collect, they do not give an option of changing the delivery to a family members address where you can ensure someone will always be in. So after they tried to deliver and no one was in the state they will try 2 more times until the send the package back, so I chose to have it delivered to one of there lockers, it has now been over a week of the status stating everyday that it will be delivered to the locker everyday but it is never delivered, it's impossible to contact evri to find out what's happening and it seems schuh also seems to have as much difficulty contacting them as when talking to schuh they can only tell me the package will be delivered in a few days which they first said last week.
This was supposed to be a birthday present that has been and gone, and all schuh has done is tell me what the delivery info states and refund me the delivery costs
Over all schuh started brilliant but there choice of courier has put me off ever wanting to buy from them again!”

“Dreadful service on line. No confirmation email but they certainly took the money. No tel number to ring to get help. Supposed to have been delivered by FedEx. Waited in for them but they didn't turn up. Fedex didn't recognise the tracking number. I wish I had checked the reviews on line because I would have avoided them. Now I'm another victim of their awful service.”
“I recently returned a pair of boots to Schuh (order ref: 2881883101). The return was rejected because the soles were said to be “worn.” I explained that I had only tested the boots briefly on my motorcycle foot pegs to check fit and function, which caused minimal marks.
What has disappointed me most is the customer service and lack of transparency:
• I first asked for photographic evidence on 4 August, but Schuh did not provide these until much later, despite multiple emails.
• The parcel was sent back while I was out; my neighbour refused delivery and I was not given any proactive tracking information until I chased repeatedly.
• The customer service and complaints team were not helpful, often repeating policy but not answering specific questions or offering solutions.
• When I asked for details of how their inspection or testing process works, no specific information was provided beyond saying the team is trained.
• When I asked about independent escalation, I was told Schuh has no ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) membership and that any escalation would have to be done by me through Trading Standards or my bank.
Customers should be aware that even minimal signs of testing footwear may lead to returns being refused, and there is no independent review of decisions.

“My daughter returned a pair of boots for a refund. Schuh sent her back a parcel with a different pair of boots in not her size and says this is what she returned, so refused refund. Original boots returned were Timberland at £125.00. She has asked they check weight on her original return label but they point blank refused to help in any way.
I would suggest Schuh review it’s system for returning items as it looks as though someone in returns has a new pair of Timberland boots for nothing thanks very much!”

“This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I ordered an item that I did not receive. When I started to look for the location of my goods, they said that they left it with a neighbor and that they do not take any responsibility. I asked to send a picture, they ignored my request. You sent a delivery history where neither the street nor the apartment is specified, only the district. Not even a zip code.
Shame on the Shuh company.
