Hi Jon, We're really sorry you never received your order, whilst fortunately quite a rare event, orders do occasionally go missing in transit. For low-value orders shipped using Royal Mail 48, we do ask customers to wait a few more days as sometimes the Royal Mail takes more than the two business days they typically aim to deliver around, and we cannot raise issues with the Royal Mail for RM48 deliveries until after ten business days. In such instances when it becomes clear the order has gone missing we're always happy to offer a full refund or to resend the order via a next-day service should inventory be available to ship. Hi Alan, We're sorry to learn of this, we can see your refund was processed yesterday afternoon and these funds should be back in your account by now. Your bank responded with an Acquirer Reference Number (ARN) a few hours after we processed the refund which confirms they have accepted the funds, but it does seem to vary from bank to bank how long this takes for the credit to appear in a customer account, from past experience if you're using a newer bank such as Monzo or Starling it's usually immediate, high street banks might take a business day or so. If the refund hasn't appeared in your account by the close of the day tomorrow get in touch with us by replying to your order confirmation or refund notification and we'll have a look into this. “Bought a helmet at a great price! Unfortunately the helmet didn’t suit so had to return. Return was very easy and refund was quick. Had to pay for the return which was fair enough. It was free delivery. Would definitely use Scotby Cycles again.”
