“The shoes I ordered could have arrived 2 days earlier, the post office confirmed scotby cycles organised the postage on the Monday but didn’t bother posting until Wednesday. Very frustrating for a 10 year old waiting for his first proper pair of shoes.”

“Web search results showed picture of the bike I wanted with a price, and 10% off flag above it. Site even allowed me to enter the discount code but transaction failed; not applicable to eBikes. Misleading and disappointing. However, good help on phone to confirm exact model number and key features of the stock, and after sales assistance on unpacking etc. from Simon, who even called me back later to check how I’d got on. Friendly & helpful.”

“Smooth transcation well packaged bike promete delivery however the cannondale trail 5 pictures and the spec different from the one I received didn't have shimano breaks as advertised I understand with covid parts network is all over the place but u should state this and that the bike u get might not be the spec in listing”

“The outcome was overall positive. The chap in the shop was very helpful and pleasant and the shop was well stocked and tidy. I was able to buy some Gravel bike shoes in my size as they were shown on the online site. Getting through to the shop to speak to anyone is nearly impossible. Each call I made I had to endure a long advertorial which seemed needless and it was off-putting. I don't need to know how you buy your stock if I can't speak to anyone to organize buying it. It was like being on hold but I expect that it was just what happens when you call. I tried 5 times over two days and the same message each time. If anyone else within 50 miles had what I needed and had picked up the phone I would not have bought the shoes from Scotby.”

“I can't fault Scotby Cycles in any way, but the product itself was disappointing. Don't buy the Pro Plus Ortlieb bags. They seem quite sad, especially for the price -- but at least Scotby gave us the best price on them. Will see how much use we really get out of the bags. I don't recommend any retailer to anyone ever, so the question "how likely is it that you'd recommend Scotby" is a terrible question, I can only truthfully put 0 to regardless of how wonderful your service might have been. I give this same answer for every retailer I only use occasionally. I won't remember 2 weeks from now that I ever used Scotby so that's another reason it's a terrible question -- you'd be better to ask "if in the next few days you needed something sold by Scotby, would you hesitate to buy from them?" and THAT decision would be based on quality of my actual recent experience with this retailer.”

“I received my Specialized Rockhopper promptly and I am very happy with the service I received. I did have one slight issue with the assembly of the handlebars however. The front brake caliper had been installed with the hydraulic pipe crossing under the frame. I therefore had to remove the caliper in order to secure the handlebars, as the pipe was fouling the frame, and then reinstall the caliper.”

“Great service and my return was really easy. Only downside is it seems we can’t talk to a human being anymore. Wanted some advice but the number just took me to a recording and asked to contact via email. I received my money back into my account and repurchased a different size, but normally the returns are accessed through vouchers. I think the revenues should be put back into our accounts, then, if the size of my shoe was available I would have ordered it, which I did. If it wasn’t, I’d have had to wait for the size to be available and that’s not fair in my opinion.”

“Fast shipping, but nevertheless not to recommend outside GB. Because of the BREXIT it takes too long to get the ordered products!!!”
