“The bedding is beautiful quality and washes well. The colour is true to the pictures. It was delivered quickly and the packaging was cute and considered. My only issue is the only reason I knew the duvet cover didn't come with pillow cases was from someone else review. I believe this should be clearly stated on the website to avoid disappointment and having to place further orders.”

“I ordered two king size duvet covers, they were delivered quickly and beautifully packaged with no plastic, which was lovely. I was absolutely delighted with the Pinecones cover, it feels amazing quality and looks fantastic, minimal to no ironing needed, just what I was after, makes the bedroom look wonderful. But the Hotel Stripe one was a disappointment. It feels thinner than I expected, and it is horrible to iron - no matter how hard I try it still looks rumpled, and there was a small pull in the fabric. It's OK, but I wouldn't describe it as hotel quality. But I'd buy anything similar to the Pinecones cover in a heartbeat - interesting that the two items are so different!”

“Love the choice of colours. However the weave of the fabric (100% linen fitted sheets) is coarser than I expected. Not a deal breaker - and in any case hard to tell without touching the fabric.”

“I have purchased sheets and duvet covers from Secret Linen before and been very happy with them. I needed a new mattress cover and chose the cotton one as I prefer natural fabrics. The quality is fine but I had not appreciated how heavy it would be, especially when wet. I washed it when it arrived to deal with the initial shrinkage and it nearly destroyed my washing machine. The machine could not spin it because of the weight and wringing it by hand was also near impossible. I eventually got it dried but it is not a practical cover for me in the longterm. It was also still a bit too large for my mattress even after washing. Probably should have gone for the polyester one but will in any case have to source an alternative.”

“I’ve purchased a few items from Secret Linen Store although I was disappointed that after I made my purchase, no more than a week after they were emailing me offering me discounts on items that I had just paid/ordered. I didn’t check on the actual items offered for discount but was perturbed somewhat. I had also purchased a King Size fitted base sheet circa 2-3 years prior to this and early this year the item had worn through creating holes. I work away from home Mon-Fri (I live on my own) and change the sheets every two weeks to give you an idea of the use - I was also disappointed with this given the cost. Duvet and Pillow Covers are lasting very well and am really happy with them. Excellent quality! Delivery service is great and when the items arrive, they are wrapped in a ribbon with a note (and a tea-bag); it feels really personal/special. I would give the marks Excellent if it was not for the base sheet life span and subsequent offers of discounts leaving me to believe I could’ve purchased my items cheaper. I would still return to purchase in the future though….”
