Selectatrack offer a wide and good range of services for singers that easily usable, but there's still room for improvement as 'sound samples' are too brief and often include large 'instrumental' sections, rather than 'vocal' sections that singers want to hear. Could do better!

Hi, thanks for shopping with us and for taking the time to write a view. Unfortunately licensing restrictions only allow us to play a 30 second sample of the songs, we would love to be able to have longer previews, but unfortunately, we are not allowed :o(

Most of the tracks were recorded with only the electronic organ. Pocketsongs and Zoom are the two outstanding publishers who actually have a orchestra. Using a Voice eliminator machine produces better effects.

I like the service however, I don't like the fact that you have to download £6 worth of songs at a time to be able to buy downloads and more often than not I'll use the sunfly website which does allow you to purchase just one track at a time.

The website was easy to use. I found all of the songs that I wanted to buy and they were all in the format that I needed, however, these tracks did not play as they should have on the karaoke system that I was using and so I was disappointed with my purchase.

disc is coming up as " no disc" when I put it into my cd player which is odd as other select-a-track cd's I have play fine. Will try and copy it onto another blank disc to see if its accepted by my cd player.

Was quite disappointed with my recent purchase, the words on the disc were quite distorted. I have ordered from here before though and discs have all been a very good quality.

I have been using this site for a couple of years now. I have loved the ease of being able to download in any format instantly. However this no longer seems to be the case & many songs that I have wanted to purchase are now only able to be posted on a disc. Meaning you have to purchase a discs worth. This is the reason for the normal rating. Previously I would have rated the site 5 stars. Bring back instant download for all tracks please.

Hi Nick, thanks for your custom and taking the time to write a review. Unfortunately the download option on some songs had to be removed due to a new rule enforced by the PRS, to whom represent the song writers & publishers. you have a lot more songs than any other karakoe site i have seen how ever i wasnt happy with how the songs downloaded as videos to my compter i wanted to put them on a mp3 player but they wouldnt go on there transfering them, to the mp3 player did not work beacause the format that downloaded these songs was incorret

Hi, thanks for the review. You need to make sure you order the correct format for your intended purpose, for example our MP4 videos wont work on an MP3 player. If you contact the sales team they will be able to help you ensure you order the correct format. sales@selectatrack.com

Hi, thanks for shopping with us and for the review. We're sorry we could only manage 3 stars this time, we always try to offer a 5 star shopping experience. We don;t have a lot of say in to what actually gets made, we are just a re-seller for the karaoke companies. We do however offer tracks from most of the main karaoke companies in the world, which is why we have by far the worlds largest collection of karaoke tracks available. If you send us a list of songs you would like to see produced we can suggest them to the karaoke companies, however they all receive a very large amount of requests so we can;t promise they will get made. Hi Guys. Sorry to say some of your tracks are naff. Words are wrong. Words come up after they should have been sung. ( Most recent Hermans Hermits - I'm into Something Good) Spelling mistakes. Words round the wrong way...... Some songs don't flow which trips the singer up. Some have poor quality sound. Some are just out of key. Many songs on your packs are just not required. However we are having fun with what we have purchased and everyone is having a go. We tend to try and buy Multiplex singer assisted songs which is helpful to whoever is singing. Hi, sorry to hear you are not happy with some of your tracks, sound quality can vary depending on the manufacturer, hence the reason we offer many different manufacturers versions and we offer video samples of all tracks, so you can check it out before ordering. All the tracks however should be in perfect time, if you email the sales team explaining which tracks you think are out of sync and they will check it out for you. Thanks for shopping with us.

Good selection of songs, but not enough information about differences between the manufacturers through the small sample available on your site. I would like to hear more of the song and understand more about the start and the end of the song - does it fade out, or finish properly, does it start without an intro (or at least note to get you started?).

Hi, thanks for the review. Unfortunately due to licensing restrictions we can only offer 30 second samples for free on the website, usually this is enough to give you an idea of the audio quality of a track. Most tracks have a faded ending, however if a track has a non-faded ending it will say so above the video when watching the preview. Some manufacturers always use definite endings (Mr Entertainer, Zoom, SBI) so if that is important to you stick with those manufacturers. Intro/start of songs will almost always begin exactly as the original did, count in notes are sometimes added to tracks that start acapella (depending on the manufacturer), but most songs this isn't required because the music usually starts first. I have purchased quite a few discs from you for me to use at karaoke but I cant use them because the backing is to loud or sound so bad they are just unusable. I have many discs I just cannot use, and Im not the only one

Track quality can vary depending on the track manufacturer, hence the reason we offer video samples of all tracks so customers can check they are happy with the version before ordering.
