“we visited Newfoundland/Labrador in the late spring of last year and had an educational, fun, experience. Our tour guide, Karen, and driver, Dave, were exceptional. Our accommodations were good, food excellent and much time and thought went into the tour. Karen was the best! Dave's driving skills were admired more than once. The folks of Nfld were friendly, outgoing, and more than willing to answer any of our questions. They were proud of their Nfld. We were unable to visit Labrador due to bad weather but Karen was able to make arrangements to return to our previous motel. She went above and beyond (as did Dave) to ensure we had a fabulous tour and we are grateful for a most enjoyable vacation. The tour took care of everything. All we had to do was sit back and enjoy - which we did. Looking forward to another one,”

“I have done 17 trips with SDT, and with the exception of 2 trips that I didn’t enjoyed, all of them were very good. The Tour Director makes sure the tour runs smoothly, the excursions well research, most of the hotel rooms adequate, sometimes very small because I travel alone, but only one time I asked to be switched and it was done without problems. The food most places were very good, and on my last trip in Austria in September 2019, the food was excellent especially in the second hotel in Austria. Love all the attention received from the tour director. I am looking forward to another trip as soon as it’s safe to travel again.”

“After many Senior travels with a friend, I traveled solo to Peru this past February (with Seniors). Of course, the tour manager can make or break a tour. For my Peru, and, I believe, our trip to Poland and Russia we had the most excellent tour managers. For all others they were very good. All had excellent points.
I enjoy traveling to more interesting places and at my age find it difficult to plan to travel without a tour group and need security of tour manager. Secondary to tour manager is the itinerary and local tour leaders. Interesting, active Itinerary with well informed local leaders have been great to excellent. I like the learning experience.
All my Senior tours have been well planned, good to excellent accommodations and food.
The groups have been smaller because I travel to non popular areas.
I was planning on traveling with Seniors to the Silk Road this year but, unfortunately, things have changed.
I look forward to future travels next year once a vaccine is developed.
