? Advised your guide about room-did not care as she had better room than I. Watched her go around to others telling them what great room she had given them!Why did I pay extra?Was signed up for Spain but told again my room would not be as advertised because I was going alone...cancelled (was lucky I did ...virus) For me it is difficult going alone in first place and then have to deal with the unfairness!Will find different opportunities somewhere else!

“For the amount that I paid I could have gone to Europe. Meals were very sparse. Popcorn is not one of my favourite meals for dinner. The milk run to Victoria was totally inappropriate.

“We enjoyed our tours up to a point. Greece was a bit of a disappointment, and our tour guide was "insufficient" to put it briefly.
Spain held a lot of promise - however the Covid19 put an abrupt end to
what would have been a memorable trip.
Senior Discovery Tours are good for seniors, a lot of small details are well taken care of by the company. However, we may be too old to go by the time the Covid19 is settled! Sigh.

“Our first trip to the Atlantic provinces was amazing. Our guide was wonderful. She actually changed the date of our trip to the Cabot Trail as it was to be very rainy with the following day's itinerary. We had a wonderful time with her. We enjoyed being escorted to the limousine by your staff and avoiding the mayhem of the other level.
We went to Panama on our second trip with you. It was not so good.
Although we had requested to sit together on the plane, it did not happen. Other participants had the same issue where husband & wife were seated separately. If Kevin and Michael had not added special excusions while we were in Panama City, it would have been dreary as the hotel location was not good for exploring on one's own. We had to change our accommodation as the room was not physically safe....slippery floor & bathtub. The second room was much better with a much improved view. We would recommend that the stay in the City be shortened and alternate location added. Four days was sufficient at the all inclusive resort. Although we had early starts, the exploration of the canal system and the train ride was wonderful.
We are hopeful that we can go to Newfoundland next year, pending the availability of a covid vaccine.”
“Overall, the tour to Italy was OK. It was well organized and our tour guide, Roberta, was excellent. She did a great job keeping the group together and providing information etc. The food was very disappointing and fell far short of expectations. We had one very good dinner during the entire two week trip. The balance were OK, but certainly nothing memorable. Tours were OK as well. There was a warning in the brochure about the amount of walking that we would be doing, but it was not sufficient. For example, the amount of walking in Rome was totally ridiculous for a senior tour.
As a couple, we would not do another tour with your company. However, if I was a single woman I may consider another trip. My husband definitely would not.
PS: the shuttle to the airport from Grimsby was terrifying. The driver was speeding and hit a guardrail on Highway 403. We reported this to your representative at the Toronto airport.”
“We should never have been sent on the tour however we were told if we did not go we would lose all our money. We were stuck in our hotel room for a week in Spain not able to leave with very little communication as to how we were getting home. Once home it took many emails and a very long time to receive any compensation. Not sure we will take another Senior Discovery Tour.”

“Tour from Denver to last Vegas. Tour bus good. Driver exceptional. Tour leader acceptable. Some accommodation did not meet expectations. Frankly tour leader would have been lost except for the bus driver. Saw what we wanted to see which was good. Some of the rest was disappointing. Would have to think hard before booking again

“Travelled to India. Very unimpressed with accompanying Senior Tour Staff Margaret and Indian Tour Guide. Felt we were being taken advantage of - shopping opportunities etc. Attitude of both was demeaning and I felt I was being spoken down to. Accommodations were lovely and I loved India. I have never taken another tour with your company.”
