“Our first trip was to the East Coast in September, 2018. Our tour guide, Karen was excellent - we met amazing travellers and enjoyed the tour. Subsequently we decided to book for Spain in March, 2019 for one month. Imagine our delight and surprise when Karen met us at the Airport with a big hug. We loved the program in Torrelimos and especially the extra walking tours that Karen arranged. She really took care of everyone We were ready to book for Greece when the pandemic hit in 2020. We would eventually be interested in a 3-week program with historical tour + island cruise.

“I have enjoyed the previous couple of tours with your company. This year I was booked for Croatia and Slovenia which I cancelled not only due to Covid but the earthquake in Croatia back in late March. It seems I’m not fated to visit that country. Prior to coming to Canada I lived in Austria for about 9 months and while there had a tour booked to what was still Yugoslavia. There was an earthquake and my husband and I had to cancel. 😢 Hopefully things will get back to some sort of normal and we can all travel again. 🛫”
“My late wife and I went on 5 tours with Senior Discovery tours. They offer excellent value and just about everything is included. Hotels are carefully selected and are usually in the heart of the cities you visit. The tour managers and guides are experienced and take care of their guests. We went on all 3 of the Mexico tours, largely because of the manager Liliana.
Single rates are available and post Covid I may travel again. My only complaint is that some tours have excessive additional charges from Western Canadian cities.”
“I have taken three trips with Senior Discovery Tours and had a great time on all of them. The tour guides were friendly, informative and knowledgeable. The food was amazing, especially on the two cruises aboard the Princess Cruise Line. I have no complaints about my trips, and hope to travel more with Senior Discovery. As an aside I think ships should offer free wifi or at least offer it at a more reasonable price.”

SDT IS VERY ORGANIZED - well planned with informative and trained guides to lead us on our journeys. Thank you. Most hotels are at least **** clean and has WIFI.”
“I have travelled lots and Senior Discovery tours in my favourite way to travel. Everything is paid for before you leave including tips. the only money you need is for souvenirs. The guides are extremely good and look after all our needs. We stay in very good and clean places. In our India trip we stayed in amazing old places with lots of history when we were not in big cities, Will sure travel with them again.”

“I really enjoyed both tours taken with the company. I do notice that the quality of the tour managers makes a HUGE difference. One was more flexible than the other however trips were very much enjoyed.
Being picked up to and from the airport and being greeted at the beginning of the trip enhances the experience.
One minor: to many church visits. Would definately cut by haff these visits and replace with other visits (i.e. food walks and tastings, museums, etc.)
Will definately travel with senior discovery tours once COVID19 is over. Looking forward to it!”

“The last trip with seniors was the Beautiful BC Alberta tour which was fantastic. Everything went very smoothly very well planned. We made a close friendship with another couple that we have met with numerous times. We say some great sites meals very good and had a great tour guide. I know we have looked at the next one but with the present situation I don’t think we would feel comfortable in a plane or bus so will have to wait for another year. Hope it will work out. “I had a wonderful trip to the Middle East a couple of years ago. It was a whirlwind trip, fast paced, not much downtime but it gave me a taste of Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Oman, enough that I know I want to go back. Marilyn From SDT was fantastic to travel with and Maryanne in Dubai was the best Local tour guide. I will, and have, highly recommended SDT to friends. As we get older slower paced tours are better but if a person has good feet and knees and can keep up your tours are the best.”
