“I love their product! However, their customer service is very poor. I have been trying for 6 months now to receive my new pair based on their warranty. The claims process has been long. I have been told they don't have my style in stock. Multiple emails with long durations of no response. If they don't want to process claims based on their warranty promise then they just shouldn't offer it! I feel badly from the vendor I bought them from also because his sales really do depend on how the Shaka Glasses Company treats their customers. Also, fyi...there is no phone number to speak with anyone, it is all email. What does that say about the company???”

“I have been trying to get the lenses replaced in a pair of shakas glasses for almost 12 months now and I am no closer to resolving the issue. Communication is so poor and it appear no one knows what's going on. It has been such a negative experience for me.”

“Review of Sunglasses Purchase Experience I purchased a pair of sunglasses while visiting Hawaii and was initially impressed with the product. The company assured me of a lifetime warranty, which added to my confidence in their offering. However, my experience with their customer service has been disappointing. In October 2024, I reached out to the company to claim a warranty replacement. Unfortunately, it took until February 2025 for them to respond. They informed me that the replacement lenses I requested were not in stock. After a month of persistent follow-ups, they finally provided a list of available lenses. Despite selecting from this list, a month later, I was informed that the lenses were again out of stock. As of now, the company has held onto my $10 since February without providing a replacement. This experience has been frustrating and has led me to advise against dealing with this company if you anticipate needing to use their warranty services. Their slow response times and inability to fulfill warranty claims have been a significant inconvenience. Conclusion While the product itself was satisfactory, the company's customer service and warranty fulfillment process have been lacking. If you value timely and reliable service, you may want to consider other options.”

“I purchased these in Hawaii, reason for purchasing this brand was for the warranty. I have own them a little over a year with little use. The lenses are scratched and the emblem has fallen off the arm. I have reached out to the company twice now with no response.”

“I did a review a couple weeks ago about customer service not getting back to me for a month a a half over a warranty claim. They finally did get back to me saying it was a glitch in their system. Customer service was very responsive this time around. Needless to say, my frames under warranty are on the way in the mail. Better late than never!”

“Buyer beware, they don’t honor their warranty. I have been happy with the Shakas Hawaii company for years, and have bought multiple items. Recently, their customer service has become non existent. I placed a warranty claim on my frames that broke. Shakas Hawaii charged me the shipping fee for the claim and sent a confirmation. They ended up never shipping the frames. I made numerous attempts to try and receive a reply from them over a month and a half period. Still no word from them, and no frames. Very disappointing.”

“I have been wearing Shaka's for over 2 years and I LOVE them so much. The best purchase ever. Most sunglasses last me a few months before they seem to break.. My Shaka's are the best and the warranty makes them last forever too!”
