“Firstly, I do not shave everyday - about once or twice a week.
I tried the razor after a shower, as recommended.
The shaving cream was like applying lard and had no lather. I also do not like the smell. It did not work as well as my normal foam. Also I had to use soap to clean it from my face.
When I tried the razor I was disappointed, it did not manage to shave as well as my normal one. Intact I reverted to the normal one, which was not a new blade.
The shavekit razor clogged up, too many blades too close. The head size made it a little awkward to use precisely. Where I used it I am a little sore, tender skin.
I will be keeping my original razor.”

“The razor is of good quality and the handle comfortable to hold, but I'm afraid I found the blades not as sharp as the brand I'm am using, I had to shave twice to get the clean shave feel I'm used to.”
“This is written as a direct comparison to my existing razor, from Harry's. In terms of aesthetics and feel the SK is nicer, slightly more ergonomic and better balanced. Both H and SK blades and cartridge felt fine on my skin and were indiscernible from each other during a general shave. I missed the option of a trimmer on the SK which is present on the H. If anything this was the only reason I preferred H over SK. For total openness, during the Covid Pandemic I have grown a full beard so the only shaving I have been doing is a daily neck shave to keep the beard trim and tidy. I also use the trimmer on the H to remove rogue hairs that grow above the natural beard line.”
“Tried my Shavekit just now in the shower and found that the razor is very solid and feels under my total control. Shaving down was a bit slow as I wanted to ensure I felt comfortable and it did feel good. Shaving up however was just brilliant. My usual Mach 3 leaves stubble under my chin and down my neck which takes numerous sweeps... Shave kit did it in one which was just damn perfect.
I like the over style of the handle and it feels like I can control the whole shave.

“So I was skeptical at first. I’ve tried all the others, wont mention names. But they all seemed a little cheaply made and actually the blades were like shaving with a semi sharp survival knife. So I went back to branded. However. This little beauty is actually well made and the blades were as good as my brand one. I didn’t want to believe it as I thought here we go. Another sub package that wants a small fortune for not a lot of bang. But I was pleasantly surprised. Well made handle for real man hands, very decent blade, sharpe and accurate. And the flex in the head beat the other sub brands. Think I’ve found a razor that’s cheaper and better than my brand ones! And the handle looks good too!”
