“Everything was on time and the car was in good shape. My only complaint is that I was told I could put all charges on my credit card. After the car was in transit The driver called me and told me I had several options regarding how to pay but none of them was by credit card. The next time I ship my car I will find a shipper who will take credit cards.”
“I notified company 3weeks in advance re need for transport from a Palm Springs to WA state. Several calls resulted in "Yes, everything on schedule for pickup day before you fly out." Wrong. Day of scheduled pickup company called and said no pickup because no transporter would transport car for agreed upon price, and informed me that going rate was $999.99, and that was much more than contracted price. Bottom line: Either pay what the traffic will bear or wait till the price comes down after snowbirds leave. I waited another 10 days and still had to pay more than contracted price. A call to a Palm Springs transporter informed me that Miami guy did not know the score. Score is to charge whatever you can get from snowbirds during high season. Extortion? The giy's reply was that they had to make a living and scratch for every extra dollar. I learned this: try to leave car in car on trickle charge for off season and forget a car transporter unless you must ship a classic or very exp naive car. Not all snowbirds are rich; some of us are in need of escape from northern cold and warmth for arthritic bones. lesson learned.”

The bid was very competitive, and I was called the next day with 3 options for pick-up dates within several days of when I first contacted them. Pick-up was on time and delivery was faster than promised (2 days for delivery from California to TN). I was given a phone number for the trucker so I could know about any changes in ETA.”
