I recently ordered a pair of DM (Adelaide) Henrietta Oxford shoes direct from DM's own website in their clearance sales - but they are only offering the Oxblood version in the sales. In fact the only other colour you can get direct from them (albeit full RRP price of £100/pair) are the Black ones. Through my online browsing, I found Shoes International (SI) and they're offering the DMs at £15 cheaper than full RRP! Plus they're offering the shoes in their original range of three colours (Oxblood, Black and Oak)! Because I am madly in love with the shoes, I ordered two pairs in the colour I don't already own. Having said that, I was fully prepared for SI to come back to me and say "sorry the manufacturer has stopped the Oak version, would you like to cancel it or order a different colour" etc etc etc... I put in my order on a Friday 5 August, by Monday 8 August I received an email telling me to expect delivery in 14 working days. Then yesterday Tuesday 23 August, I got an email telling me they've shipped my shoes and by 15:50 Wednesday 24 August I received delivery of both shoes!!! I am totally over the moon with the service... just BRILLIANT! I mean I have had no need to contact and communicate with them direct, but from reading all reviews I can imagine they'd be super efficient and super helpful! I would definitely be using SI again in the future and will honestly, "from bottom of my heart" kind, be recommending them to friends! Well done guys and keep up the good service! I love the personalised message in the box too! Note: (a) Chaps... despite the shoes being marketed for ladies... don't be scared, they're not too feminine and the heels are only about 1.5"! (b) If you are in between sizes (and have wide-ish feet) you ought to round it up to the next size up. In fact I originally ordered size UK6.5 when I ordered direct from DM but had to return it and re-ordered size UK7, because the shoes are a bit narrow. All in all, if you love the look of the shoes... go for it! I thoroughly recommend them and definitely recommend Shoes International!!!

“Having ordered the grey shoes I found black shoes had been supplies. To add insult to injury the price tag on the box indicated a price 30 pounds less than what I had paid. I have returned the shoes at my cost. $30 aus and am still waiting for a an outcome.”

Dear Mr Kershaw Thank you for your review, we are very sorry to hear of the difficulties you have experienced. We are a little surprised - your review is the first we have heard of this incident. If you had contacted us we would have been quick to apologise and confirm that of course we will be responsible for your return shipping. We could also have arranged to send the correct pair. So please do accept our apologies and our assurance regarding the return shipping. We have not yet received the returned shoes. Perhaps if you could provide a tracking number for the shoes and if you could let us know when you sent them - we will know when to expect them. I am not sure about the price you refer to. I have checked our remaining stock of these styles and they are all correctly marked. The main point is that you paid the correct price for them - which I hope you would agree is quite a competitive price. At no point have these shoes been on sale for £30 less. Again, please accept our apologies for the frustration caused by this mistake - it is certainly not acceptable. “My wife and I are confessed shoeaholics. The shoes we purchased recently from Shoes International are part of the Remonte Dorndorf Range described online as Rieker R1720. They are extremely comfortable everyday lace up casual shoe which feature a subtle floral overlay. They are of a stylish sporty shape. In purchasing these shoes we received great customer service from Shoes International. The shoes were dispatched most promptly and were received by us in New Zealand a matter of a few days later. I would highly commend Shoes International as a great source from which to purchase shoes online. We have used them previously and consequently because of their great service continue to do so. PS: It's not just great brands of shoes that they sell, but they provide excellent service.”

“i have used shoes international several times and always been so impressed with the service. once through no fault of yours my order was delayed. i received a further discount on my order thanks to you on something that was already cheaper than going direct to the manufacturer. with my last order, i inadvertently ordered 2 pairs of the same boots due to a computer glitch. not only was my refund processed immediately but i also received the full cost of the postage of the second pair. i have to say a huge thanks once again but in particular to 'adele' in the returns dept whose emails made me laugh and kept me amused for days. it is a rare pleasure to deal with a company who obviously cares about what it does and the people who use it.”

“Prompt delivery but unfortunately the lovely shoes were too big and the smaller size was out of stock. Returning the shoes wasn't a problem and the refund was dealt with quickly. I would definitely purchase from Shoes International again”

However, we are never content unless we receive 5 star reviews so we are most disappointed that we should have only achieved 2 on this occasion. We want our customers to be happy with the whole ordering process, not just the product. I had a look at your order and I see you ordered on Boxing day, just before the weekend. According to the Royal Mail tracking information your parcel arrived with you within 6 working days. Whilst this is certainly longer than we would usual expect an order to take. However, at Christmas and New Year, delivery can take longer via our standard free delivery service. We are sorry if this caused any concern. “Excellent customer service. There was a small fault which I explained over the phone and in an e mail. I asked for the same boot in the same size . However, they were the last pair. I loved them and said I would keep them anyway. However. the firm turned my slight disappointment in the fault to real good customer service by giving me a discount on the boots as they were not perfect. I'll definitely shop again with this company.”

“from start to finish this company prides themselves on customer satisfaction and it comes out very well with the little personal notes they put in your shoes the price you pay would be very hard to beat and the packaging 1st class a big welldone to all your staff who it shows believe in true customer service thankyou.”

“Bought two pairs of different Doc Martens at considerably discounted prices. Communications from the company on ordering and dispatch both clear and prompt. My telephone enquiry was politely and effectively responded to. Altogether my experience is of high customer service from a friendly, economically competitive company. Very impressed. “Really good value for money - I saved about £40 on the pair of DM's I ordered. I received an email explaining that the factory was closed over Christmas but that my shoes would be on their way ASAP once it opened again. Will definitely use Shoes International again.”

“I saw a pair of wellies in my local shop, but they did not have my size. I found the exact same wellies on Shoe International and ordered a pair that afternoon. I had an e-mail confirmation and was kept up-to-date on the progress of my order. The boots arrived in just a few days and were very securely packaged for their journey to the Highlands of Scotland, where they are much worn and admired. They are well-made and stylish. Just the thing. Thank you for excellent service!”
