“Rails were delivered without the screws required to fit them. Most disappointingly, the rail came in two pieces, which I was expecting, but they are completely different colours, one much darker than the other. I dread to think what they will look like installed. Would not buy again”

“Fitted this handrail for my parents. The oak was high quality and the fittings went together perfect. Delivery took 7 working days which is acceptable and within the advertised time frame. Well packaged and looks stunning now I have added varnish! Alfred”

“Took 2 weeks to dispatch supposably 'in stock' items. Then rail received with wrong brackets.( Not as shown) Correct ones not available.”

“Stainless steel components should be packaged better. Brackets started their journey in bubble wrap bags which weren’t sealed so they, along with end caps and screws all rattling around together in an oversized packaging box. This caused bruising to edges of end caps which I have refinished on a lathe. Oak hand rail well packaged and a very nice quality which I have sandpapered to a fantastic finish prior to varnishing. Made tool to enable me to mark the ends dead centre for end cap fixing screws. Overall, with extra imput from myself, looks really nice fitted.”

“My installation and delivery of my new balustrade has just been completed by Simplebalustrades. I don't normally do reviews but I feel I must after such a professional service. Not only does it look great but the installation was first class, fine workmanship, great product and no mess. Special mention to Leah in sales, she was a pleasure to deal with and went the extra mile to ensure a perfect project. I would recommend this company every time. Thanks again.”

“Eventually we have now got all the parts to finish the job and it looks good. I still would have wanted instructions for the dwarf wall brackets that come apart into 3 pieces by allan key, it took a bit of working out how to fit but the replacement ones were a one piece part so much easier. Thank you for sorting out the problems”

“The product is good value and imagine perfect for a staircase. Unfortunately, I needed for a ramp and cannot attach with upright posts vertical to ground as the base and vertical post are fixed at 90 degrees and the ramp is at 20 degree angle. My oversight not fault with product.”

“Product good value for money, customer service needs improving. Needed to contact several times, regarding late delivery and incorrect tracking number, they did respond but have a terrible telephone answerphone. Room for improvement. Also no instructions with item. Plenty of spare screws.”

“We ordered 2 handrails, but we had 2 plastic ends missing which are located under the metal end stops. When I phoned they were kindly sending the extras ASAP.Also there were no instructions & the screws seemed too long for attaching the brackets to the handrails.”

“Although my order took much longer than stated on the website and as I had to wait for my handrail to be mirror polished because I live by the coast, I am absolutely delighted with the finished product which is of such high quality. It looks beautiful and the man who fitted it for me was also most impressed and took a photo which, unfortunately, I do not have.”
