"Awful company. Cancelled over a month ago and they charged me today saying they would refund half! I haven't received or requested a second box so how on earth can I return what I don't have for a full refund. To make matters worse, I even cancelled my old bank card so goodness knows how they have taken money. SCAMMERS, STAY CLEAR!"

"The current offer of \u00a31 or \u00a33 for a 'free trial' sounds good but it's not transparent. I didn't realise that I was signing into a subscription service until I noticed the 'Set your back up box' instructions at the end of the confirmation email (see pic). When I did realise, I cancelled the subscription service online and emailed a complaint to Simply Cook. They replied saying that as I'd cancelled the subscription service then I wouldn't get the offer box and they'd refund the \u00a33 I paid. \r\n\r\nSo how is this a 'free trial'? It's more a discount against future purchases.\r\n\r\nI wouldn't describe their practice as a scam, but it is misleading and they really should be up front about what you are buying\/signing up for from the outset. If people don't fully read or understand the confirmation email they'll end up paying a monthly subscription for something they hadn't realised they were committing to."
