The travel clock arrived, the post man did not ring the bell so I had to walk to the post office the next morning to sign for it, I assembled the battery, the second hand did not move, the light came on and the alarm rang but no clock movement - not fit for purpose and i go away in 8 days time. I packed it all up, used first class post to return so i just trust Sinclairs will test the replacement before dispatching it to me uin the coming week; Saturday 19th is the dead line to receive and refund of my postage too?

Firstly we would like to apologise on behalf of Royal Mail for a mishap with their service, if you continue to experience difficulty with your post man please do make your local office aware. Secondly we apologise sincerely for the fault you found with your clock and hope you did receive your parcel containing the replacement in time for your travels. Sinclairs actually didnt make me happy! I registered and was given a code for a 10% discount on my first order. That code didnt work. I ended up paying the full price. I also wanted gift wrapping and a next day delivery service. I didnt receive the parcell until 2 days later! I am not happy. I would like a refund of the additional postage paid please.

Hi Kate, We are sorry to hear your experience with the Sinclairs Jewellers website was not as you expected. As per our terms and conditions we have a 3pm cutoff time for next day delivery. As your order was placed after that time the order would therefore not have been dispatched until the following day. With regards to the discount offer we are not aware of any such offer and therefore we will investigate this further and contact you directly by email. Item arrived on time although i didn't recieve a confirmation email or an email to let me know item had been dispatched
