“Very angry. My granddaughter got ears pierced religiously kept clean week later one disappeared into her ear. Upshot doctor sent her to hospital . She still wore the other one , which, lo and behold disappeared into her ear. Doctor in hospital said holes were too big for earrings they put in . My daughter got no satisfaction from sinclairs. £40 down the drain and a disappointed and a very upset little girl with infected ears”
“Worked for this guy and refused to pay my last week's wages. He tells the customers he sends their watches away for repairs but does it on the premises. The cleaner stole my Oyster and swapped it with hers. Was wondering why it shows that I was travelling to Putney when I had nothing to do in the area. This place was a joke..

“Terrible customer service on Christmas Eve…
My son and I took ourselves to Sinclairs to choose a special gift for my wife. We were met with an extended wait where the shop did not appear overly busy.
After a member of staff clearly became free from a customer, I approached to make enquiry about a necklace I had seen in the window. I managed to gain their attention and started trying to initiate a conversation when the male refused to take me on and completely ignored me. I then took about 5 minutes to locate a female member of staff who said she could not help and said she would find someone else. This took an abnormal amount of time and at this point, the experience was less than enjoyable. The person assigned with helping with the necklace in the window then walked past without acknowledgment and when I questioned another member of staff regarding their whereabouts, I was met with a rude and sarcastic response. As a result of the rudeness, shocking customer service and an all round terrible experience, i felt I had no choice but to leave the shop empty handed and extremely disappointed.”
“My daughter and I attended Sinclairs jewellers in Inverurie yesterday to get her ears pierced for her 8th birthday. We were reassured by both the Sinclairs website, which calls the Inverness ear piercing system "fantastic, safe and simple" and by the Inverness website which says it is "safe and gentle". My daughter's experience was anything but.
Both of the carriers got stuck on the earrings and then unfolded what felt like an eternity with her in a lot of pain as the assistants fiddled with the carriers to try to remove them from the freshly pierced ears. I had been filiming this to show her dad, but quickly stopped filming when I realised something was not right. That much was abundantly clear from the face of one of the assistants who was visibly panicked/stressed by the situation. I gave my daughter my hand to squeeze and as this went on I was very alarmed and asked the assistant what had happened to which she replied it had '"got stuck". By this stage my daugher was squealing in pain and uncontrollably crying.
Thereafter I would have expected a high level of customer care but my daughter was told "it would still have hurt if it hadn't gone wrong" and "sometimes one gets stuck but I've never seen both get stuck - you were unlucky". I was quite frankly shocked and very suprised that I was asked to pay since in her own words it had "gone wrong" but I just wanted to get my daughter out of the shop as quickly as possible to be able to comfort her. I cannot believe they are using this system, especially on children, since there is a known issue with it.
Having contacted both Sinclairs and Inverness Piercing today, I am no more satisfied that the system is safe or gentle, nor was there any improvement in the standard of customer care from Sinclairs. If I could give zero stars, I would.”
“I required to have my engagement ring increased in size!
I never noticed that it was close to closing time so it was my fault as such.
However the small short brown haired assistant was not in the best of moods
and when it came to taking the size of my finger she refused to take my word
for it and went with her own size? It didn’t matter how much I protested?
Anyway I blamed myself for not noticing the time. The ring did not fit as I
expected and it was the same difficult assistant so I paid the £120 and left.
So I had to go to another jeweller and start all over again! Anyway be aware
that I had a much nicer experience and it only cost me £30??????? So all in
all I will not be going back to Sinclairs! Sadly I have shopped there for many
years and have lots of their ornaments dotted about my house even a very
large monkey head by Matt B! 😢”

“I ordered a gift for my friend last Wednesday, as two days before she had lost her mum and wanted to send her a little something, and was advised by email that it had been despatched later the same day. However, as to date this gift has not been received !! I know we had adverse weather conditions but this is embarrassing now as I feel like I appear that i don't care.”
