I required to have my engagement ring increased in size! I never noticed that it was close to closing time so it was my fault as such. However the small short brown haired assistant was not in the best of moods and when it came to taking the size of my finger she refused to take my word for it and went with her own size? It didn’t matter how much I protested? Anyway I blamed myself for not noticing the time. The ring did not fit as I expected and it was the same difficult assistant so I paid the £120 and left. So I had to go to another jeweller and start all over again! Anyway be aware that I had a much nicer experience and it only cost me £30??????? So all in all I will not be going back to Sinclairs! Sadly I have shopped there for many years and have lots of their ornaments dotted about my house even a very large monkey head by Matt B! 😢

Quick service and lovely watch - but oh at what cost! Just seen it at £160 when Sinclairs were charging £229! Definitely won't be shopping with them again!! Far too greedy!

Hi Gillian, Thank you for your review. We try wherever possible to sell at the manufacturers RRP price. This maintains a good relationship with our brands and allows us to continue selling quality items both in store and online. We are unfortunately not able to control other retailers sale prices and discounts. I attempted to purchase a bracelet for my best friends 60th Birthday!! I put her details in for delivery and also for the wrapped service. When I went back to check, the address went through as my address for next day delivery It said 1pm for delivery NOT up to 1pm? and was deliveted 9.35 so I missed it and had to pick it up at the post office the next day. The bracelet cost £135 plus the extras, and I was very disappointed. It was in cellophane in a large heavy square wooden frame. It was in a box. NOT WRAPPED and as I was now late. I had no choice but to wrap it quickly and send it off for her birthday. I would not recommend this service and will not use it again or recommend it to anyone!! I have purchased many times in Sinclairs and always had superb service but the online service lets it all down

Hi Norma, We are sorry to hear you are disappointed with your recent online order. We try our utmost to cater to our customer's needs the best way we can. We have reviewed your order and found it was placed after 3pm which, as per our terms and conditions, is our cut off time for next day service however we did manage to push this order through and dispatch it on the same day rather than the following day. Our courier, Royal Mail, guarantee their Special Delivery service by 1pm the following day. In this case they have fulfilled their guarantee, however it was earlier than you expected. We will make sure all wording on our delivery choices is updated to be clearer. We can only follow instructions on the submitted order itself regarding delivery address and extra features. Our gift wrap service is an extra charge of £2 which did not appear on your order. There was a birthday message left in the comments box therefore as a gesture we added a piece of paper and a tag inside the parcel should you have wished to wrap it. Our online team will check to see if there are any technical issues with adding gift wrap and delivery address at checkout and if so have them rectified ASAP. We hope your friend was pleased with her gift and this experience does not prevent you shopping with us in the future, both in store or online. Kindest regards Sinclairs Jewellers

I was disappointed by the service i recieved when I went to Sinclair's on Saturday to collect my online purchase, I felt ignored perhaps due to the fact that I did not look too well turned out in my running kit? Plenty of staff were milling about the place but nobody was taking stock of who came in when & so who should be attended too next, there are so many counters that I was left unsure of where to go for service & eventually ended up standing in the middle of the floor to grab someone's attention & in an attempt to cover all bases. A job that should have taken 5 minutes ended up taking around 20. The point of purchasing online prior to arrival was to save time but it didn't work out that way. Could be better organised.
