“I have one of the Aurora (green trim) and am enjoying it immensely. This purchase is an Aurora Pro that I intend to give to my brother for Christmas. He has a boat, and I’m quite sure this will ease his mind if he finds himself coming back into the harbor after dark.”

“After ordering and receiving the Sionyx kit...Found some issues. I charged all the batteries that were part of the kit. The Night camera worked really great! This kit came with a Flashlight (I Love Flashlights!) BUT this flashlight never turned on. I checked the battery but it never turned on. I wrote a previous review that stated it did not work. Later, I got an email from Tech Support (Jason - Thanks) telling me that this Flashlight is an IR light! You can NOT see IR BUT the camera can see it! I tried again in the dark after sun went down...IT WORKS! This is FUN in the DARK! Thank You Jason, Michael”

“Excellent product! Fit and finish is top shelf. Functionality takes a little time to get the hang of it. Instructions need to be more detailed for connecting to wifi. It does not connect easily. Does not always reconnect when turned off and back on. A little glitchy. Connecting to phone is not a feature i am most interested in tho. Night vision is my main use not camera or video although great bonuses! All in all great product and performance for the price!”

“Bought the Aurora Black. It is all that! I also bought the IR illuminator kit. It turned out to be defective. I emailed customer service and have a replacement on the way less than 24hrs after contacting them. Excellent customer service which, in my opinion is as important as the product. Thanks SiOnyx.”

“Currently very early on with my testing/evaluation. But so far i am extremely impressed with the device. Top notch protective waterproof case. Very compact very elegant design. I love the digital enhancements with a sharp color image... far nicer than my $3k conventional NVG, and way sharper than my $3k thermal imager (but of course not having that special capability). i only had time for a quick eval around my yard, and i am very favorably impressed. i call it an extreme value for the price. Have not yet tested the IR illuminator, but i have had good results from using a different one with my conventional NVG.”

“First, I would like to say that this company is stellar. As a retired police officer of 28 years, I just ordered one of their optics. It arrived in an expeditious manner. The customer service is second to none. After I received my order, I realized that I didnt order the rail mount. It was all my mistake not reading completely what I ordered. They hooked me up no hassles.”
