“Good quick service. I was a little disappointed because I thought I had ordered the model with the compas but apparently not. Other wise I am very happy with the product. Being an old guy I would have liked a Paper operation manual but the online manual is helpful just not as convenient for referring back to. I am very happy with my SiOnyx Aurora and would recommend it to my friends.”

“The product arrived in plenty of time after ordering. The case that it was shipped in is a very robust pelican type case that is very durable and is great protection for the product. The contents were fully intact and well protected. Upon opening the case, I was disappointed that there were no product description/operating instructions. Even military systems like this come with operating instructions. I had to go to the product website to download instructions. Once I had downloaded the operating instructions, it was fairly simple to get the device up and running once the batteries were charged. After loading the mini card to set up the device, it was just a matter of going through the different operating modes and set them all up. This was not a bad process. 1. The daylight mode was decent, as one would expect. I did notice a bit of lag while moving the device from at a medium motion side to side. Upon mounting it to my m4, (I also purchased the mount), the picatinny rails fit nicely with no excessive movement. We fired 5 rounds and observed there was just a bit of “bounce or jarring”, probably due to the recoil of the rifle. 2. During dusk and night operations the device, (aurora), was able to easily acquire targets at 100yds. Again, the “bounce” was noticed during firing. At complete darkness, a scintillating effect was notice even after adjusting the forward and aft focusing features. A scintillating sight picture was observed at 100yds. This was cleared up much better with an IR light. When using an IR light/laser device we observed that there was a loss of the color feature of the device. We used streamlight and surefire IR laser/light systems. It was observed that we were not as accurate at 100yds while using the device at full darkness. Synopsis: The device is worth the price but it does have a learning curve to properly use it. The fact that there are no operating instructions when it was received is disappointing. The company is not very specific on the ability to attach this to a helmet or a headband device. All and all this device will work for individuals looking to acquire a good night vision device.”

“Have the Pro and camera is great. Night vision is incredible. However, the user manual lacks full information and you have to hunt to assemble the full knowledge base. Customer service is lacking too. The take home from me is the product is phenomenal, but be prepared to be on your own.”

“After waiting since July 2020 to receive my gear, I finally got it on Saturday and Wow! Straight out of the box performance after charging the battery. Tried it at dusk and then at 10pm and crystal clear visibility out to well over 100yds. Excited to try it on a FM-9, AR-15. I’m wondering if it will work on a suppressed AR-10?? Only reason I gave it still a 4-Star is no 1080p resolution and it took so long to receive. I will give them some slack due to COVID. So only mark down would be for the 1080p. Recommend buy these while you can for the price point and quality, can’t beat it!!!”

“Camera works as it should, in pure darkness it’s basically useless. A friend has a ir light and makes a huge difference. Great product for the price 1/3 the price of night vision.”

“I probably would have given 5 stars except for the lack of accessories for mounting the camera on anything other than a tripod (no they don't supply that either). Many of the videos they show are of folks using them on firearms or head mounted for hands free operation. After contacting them they stated they do no sell accessories and could not provide any information for anyone that does. Other than that the camera itself is quite amazing and I would recommend this to anyone.”

“Very efficient site, fast purchase, goods under testing. Not 5 stars since 1) i had to pay the customs on my own, that's ok, but I didn't read anything about it ( in italy is 22%) 2) the item has arrived with two invoices that has generated some trouble in customs 3) the item ( aurora pro) comes without any manual, but i have to say I found the aurora mamual in this site. Overall, a good buying experience. As stated before the site is ok ( and the italian translation quite good compared to the average translated sites)”

“They work as advertised. It works way better with a IR illuminator. The Twilight mode is meh. All the mounts fit well. Having issues with using on rail with an optic. Can not get zeroed. All is good. Easier to use with IR laser. Would buy again.”

“For an entry level camera it works well. I would have hoped for some lense covers, eye cup, and portable battery charger but I can make due for now. The picatinny rail adapter is quite bulky and heavy for the price. I would have expected a little more refined mount.”

“Excellent construction for the camera! It is solid and well built. The iOS phone app needs more work. It crashed several time, especially when linked via WiFi. Lately, it is difficult to turn on and off time lapse.”

“I would have liked written directions included in the package. Otherwise I'm pretty happy with the camera. I will be purchasing a ir lamp for my boat for improved visibility.”
