“I blew my 21 yo B&S engine on my beloved Craftsman rider mower. Any new very basic tractor are full of plastic parts and cost between $2,000-$3500 with no bagger. Small Engine Warehouse was able to identify my B&S engine and locate a replacement engine, needing just a minor adaptation to its electric clutch to my manual lever. For $700 and change including freight along with 2 hrs labor at my local tractor repair shop, I saved myself $1000-$2000 and still have my all-steel Craftsman tractor. I can't kill it! “Overall I felt that Small Engine Warehouse did a great job....very knolegable and responsive.
The only issue I had was in the packeging before shpment. the engine was not packeged and secured in the box / skid and was flopping around in the box during shipment exposing it to potential damage.
You need to secure it better in the shipping box.”

“Not impressed. Not a great kit. I had to make spacers for the rear engine mounts, and the spacer provided for the PTO tensioner pulley needed to be shortened alittle. It only came with 1 of the 2 PTO belts, I have email SEW twice about getting the second belt, with no response- just bought the belt from tractor supply 👎. This is a very simple engine swap and should be a direct bolt in, but it wasn't.
The Briggs engine does run really nice, hopefully it lasts a long time.”
