“Service was excellent and I received my product quicker than expected. However, UPS left the engine in the middle of my driveway over 200 feet from my house in the rain with the top on the box open. I know that is out of your control but you choose the carrier, not the customer, so their actions directly effect you. Something to think about.”

“Great tracking of product, poor shipping resulted in an opened box and slightly damaged engine cover, had to use the old engine cover.
Had to swap the throttle/chock brackets from old engine. Fired up 1st try.

“The engine was recieved in great packaging. It took a while to get it installed and running because of the difference in wiring since the privious engine did not have a carburator fuel solenoid and there no appropriate wiring instructions as to which wire went where. I contacted SEW and they sent a diagram of the BS wiring which helped, but I still had to jerryrig a separate on/off switch for the solenoid. I have an older Murray riding mower, and it seems to run okay now with the new B&S 17.5 engine.”

“Order worked out fine. It contained a cracked in half spark plug ceramic tip in the boot which confused me on receiving the product, where I had to split the rubber boot in half with a sharp Buck knife to dig out to use the product.”

Thanks for the review. We’re glad the motor fits well. Sorry the muffler doesn’t fit your 737 mower. The muffler that came with the engine is specific to fitting the engine not the application specifically. I do not show any other muffler actually purchased other than the engine that you purchased which came with the muffler. “Ordered the motor, muffler and a pair of gaskets. 3 days after order it was delivered. All except for the gaskets. Called and would send gaskets out right away. Got envelope yesterday with one gasket. Need 2 gaskets as the mower engine has 2 cylinders. Stuff happens I understand. I would buy from them again.”

They got 4 stars because of shipping. The product is great as usual. But not everyone is an influencer with their days completely free to wait on a shipment. Most of us have a job we are required to be at. They need to do something about the shipping…”

“Arrived quickly and was well packed/wrapped. Just installed. Everything aligns perfect. All wire connections were identical. Just plug and play. If swapping out a motor like I did the most important thing for me anyway is to make sure your crank shaft is the same dimension as the one on the mower and everything just slides together. If not you'll have to change the PTO/clutch and pulley to fit the different size shaft. Have not used as of yet to test but runs/sounds good”

“Motor runs great everything was exactly as described. Motor did get shifted in packaging during delivery also was a bit of oily mess. Luckily nothing was damaged. Does not come with the nuts to bolt on the exhaust. Also this is an almost perfect replacement for Kohler 7000 series on the bad boy magnum 54”. Wiring harness and all was plug and play. Also would be good help to have some direction to connecting the throttle cables had to do a little trial and error but got it perfect now.”
