“Arrived quickly and was well packed/wrapped. Just installed. Everything aligns perfect. All wire connections were identical. Just plug and play. If swapping out a motor like I did the most important thing for me anyway is to make sure your crank shaft is the same dimension as the one on the mower and everything just slides together. If not you'll have to change the PTO/clutch and pulley to fit the different size shaft. Have not used as of yet to test but runs/sounds good”

“Motor runs great everything was exactly as described. Motor did get shifted in packaging during delivery also was a bit of oily mess. Luckily nothing was damaged. Does not come with the nuts to bolt on the exhaust. Also this is an almost perfect replacement for Kohler 7000 series on the bad boy magnum 54”. Wiring harness and all was plug and play. Also would be good help to have some direction to connecting the throttle cables had to do a little trial and error but got it perfect now.”

“Your product is excellent, no real complaints. Except that it would be nice for a little more installation procedure. Not everyone is a mechanic that installs engines all the time. As an example, the engine mounting holes are not threaded and some other holes like the muffler bracket holes. I figured out that the original bolts were high quality self tapping screws. But most people I saw online doing installations had no clue and where tapping the holes and or using Nuts and Bolts which is a bad idea if they don't use the proper hardware. A little installation guidance instructions would help your products be installed properly. But over all a very clean install and a great product. Thank You”

“the engine is great it gave my 318 a much needed power increase. It mows better and faster and uses less fuel. the only reason i gave it a 4 and not a 5 is the throttle lever is hokey i hate it and will be replaceing it and i think also something a little better could have been done with the oil drain hose”

“Purchased a discontinued B&S SnowKing 1650 (420cc) via Walmart for a snowblower re-power. Price was excellent, came a week earlier than promised and packaging was first rate. Clearly new and as advertised. Started right up and runs strong. One star off since there was no documentation and no drawings for mounting/ shaft height etc. avail from B&S website (hours of searching). Had to measure to get mounted and select new belts.”

“We had our doubts because of a special tapered crankshaft, but my son and I were assured by the salesperson that the small engine we bought was the direct replacement for the Briggs & Stratton engine on my Craftsman lawn vacuum. He said that if it wasn't, we could simply return it for a refund if no oil or gas had been added. True, but not what we were expecting. As soon as we removed the new engine from the box, it was evident that the crankshaft had no taper, and was visibly too short. I did ship it back to Small Engine Warehouse, but it cost me $62 to ship the $200 engine back. No return shipping label was provided. I don't doubt that my $199.17 that I paid for the engine will be refunded to my card. But returning the $62 it cost me to ship the engine back is in serious doubt. We should have been told up front that no shipping label would be provided, and that even though the mistake was made by Small Engine Warehouse, not us, the cost of the return shipping would be our responsibility. I guess that I've been spoiled dealing online with Amazon, Walmart, Sam's Club, Home Depot, etc. I don't see any way that Small Engine Warehouse could know what it cost me to ship the engine back. Even though I've been assured that the $199.17 will be refunded to my card, I'm still going to be out the $62 I paid for return shipping, due to their mistake. I am disabled/retired and 73 years old, and $62 hurts. To be fair, if I'm able, I will amend this review if my shipping costs to return their mistake is refunded. I'm not irate with Small Engine Warehouse, as to begin with, we doubted that the engine we bought would have the special crankshaft required to work on the lawn vac. But no mention of the return shipping cost, if the engine couldn't be used, was mentioned.”

“Ordering replacement wheels was very easy. Received wheels two days later. Wrong size was received. Took replacements back to customer service rep. He made the correction immediately and was very courteous. Had the correct replacement wheels two days later. They fit like a glove. 👍”
