“Fast delivery but the engine was not mounted to anything so it was thrown around in the box that bent the oil filter and the throttle bracket was bent. I replaced the filter and straightened the bracket so everything is good now.”

“The Briggs & Stratton engine was received by my mechanic in a timely manner. He is still working on my zero turn cause he only does this part time since he has a full time job. He did text me yesterday to let me know it was going well, so hopefully I’ll get my zero back & test it out. The cost of the engine was a little high (widow on SS only) but since the shipping was free, it offset the cost & was tolerable.”

“I was a little nervous ordering the new Kawasaki engine, but it arrived fast and was the perfect fit. I bought an extra set of exhaust gaskets but the engine came with them. The motor doesn't come with oil. Had I known that, I would have added suggested break in oil when I bought the the engine. The break in oil is a little hard to find at parts / mower stores. Hopefully I won't have to use the warranty but I advise to keep good maintenance records so it's should be an issues. I would purchase again from this business. Hopefully my review gives you information to make educated decision if you need to purchase an engine. With shipping and the price of engine, with a 3 year engine warranty, they had the best price I could find on the internet and local businesses! Also, I did have replace a drive belt and spindle because the motor runs that much better.. so be ready to update some items on your mower and it's much cheaper than a new Zero-Turn for sure...”

“Service was excellent and I received my product quicker than expected. However, UPS left the engine in the middle of my driveway over 200 feet from my house in the rain with the top on the box open. I know that is out of your control but you choose the carrier, not the customer, so their actions directly effect you. Something to think about.”

“Great tracking of product, poor shipping resulted in an opened box and slightly damaged engine cover, had to use the old engine cover.
Had to swap the throttle/chock brackets from old engine. Fired up 1st try.

“The engine was recieved in great packaging. It took a while to get it installed and running because of the difference in wiring since the privious engine did not have a carburator fuel solenoid and there no appropriate wiring instructions as to which wire went where. I contacted SEW and they sent a diagram of the BS wiring which helped, but I still had to jerryrig a separate on/off switch for the solenoid. I have an older Murray riding mower, and it seems to run okay now with the new B&S 17.5 engine.”

“Order worked out fine. It contained a cracked in half spark plug ceramic tip in the boot which confused me on receiving the product, where I had to split the rubber boot in half with a sharp Buck knife to dig out to use the product.”

The muffler that came with the engine is specific to fitting the engine not the application specifically. I do not show any other muffler actually purchased other than the engine that you purchased which came with the muffler.
