Very helpful with picking replacement motor Awesome packaging and arrived in 3 days However technical team never responded to the question I had on wiring motor. Looked on the internet and figured it out response would of been nice or a wiring diagram included with motor That’s why I gave it 4 stars

Everyone there is knowledgeable and helpful, I’ve purchased many engines from y’all over the last 12 years and only one issue one your end , so that’s darn good. Otherwise anytime they’re is shipping damage which happens quite often which is not on y’all but you always send me the replacement parts promptly and for that I thank you

I had asked to speak with a tech but no call. I thought my engine might have been abit too spirited since it runs like a top fueller when I start it up cackleing and cracken. I hope it stays together.

It does have a 2-year manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase through Briggs & Stratton in case you need to take it to a local authorized dealer to have it looked at. I was a little skeptical at first to order through Small Engine Warehouse, since the price of the engine I bought seemed too good to be true. However I am happy I did. The engine shipped quick after purchase, & once arrived I installed it & it started right up. I would say the only thing I have to complaints about is that it did arrive with a sizable ding on the oil filter (which could have been from shipping company) & the new motor did not come with an owners manual or any kind of documentation, which isn't the complete end of the world since if you search enough online you can find a manual. Overall I am Satisfied with the company, & if I need a new engine on anything else in the future, I will purchase from them again.

While we don't provide physical copies, the owner's manual and wiring information is downloadable from our website and we do email you a copy of your sales receipt when your order ships, and the owner's manual can be downloaded from it as well. Salesman was great . Got engine to dealer quickly. But I left 3 messages in the days following and he never called me back. Hope that's not how it will be if I have issues

Motor arrived in a timely manner with slight damage (Bent heat shield and broken spark plug). Took some work but was able to remove remainging piece of spark plug from plug wire. Straightened heat shield in vise so the hood would bolt back on properly. Everything else seemed to hook up fine. Engine started up first try. Mowed the law with my tractor for the first time in 4 weeks. Challenges: Exhaust manifold is poorly designed. Nearly impossible to get an allen wrench behind exhaust pipe to install. Needs to be angled about 20 degrees further forward or extend out further from the engine before it turns down. Exhaust pipe rubs against the provided heat shield. I'll need to modify that. All the connections seem correct. Although my tractor wire connection had two wires the supplied engine has three. Stator wire not connected. We'll see if its charging or not in a few mows. Battery seems fine during first 45 minutes. Recommended changes to the instruction kit: Add oil capacity for engine so customer doesn't have to go find it online. Provide a better image of throttle connection. Provide a link to tractor wiring diagrams so customer can verify connections for the kits. Overall I'd do it again. Saved me from buying a new tractor.

We will certainly take your suggestions into consideration to improve our instruction kit, including adding the oil capacity for the engine and providing better images and resources for throttle and wiring connections. I have the engine installed, with a few tweaks, have not been able to use it due to all the rain. It starts and runs fine, think it is going to work well. Thanks for your help.
