I usually buy engines there. It’s getting a little more expensive though. I wish they had more short blocks in stock. Otherwise it’s alright.

I do not know anything about engine but the one that is installing it for me said it is a better engine commercial grade the only thing was my choke level with different so he got to find a way to install a part so I can choke it when I start it overall I can't complain

A friend of mine was in need of a replacement engine for his mower and used Small Engine Warehouse. When I acquired a mower that needed the same, he referred me to Small Engine Warehouse and said that they would have what I needed. They had what I was needing and got it to me quickly.

SEW sent me a new engine at a great price and it arrived quickly. After ordering online, I clicked on the box offering the Owner's Manual. The response was statement, "Page not found". The engine replaces a 20 year old with a 13/16" diameter shaft. The new engine's shaft is 7/8". My bad for not doing my homework. I called to get the correct pulley & sleeve. Told I'd get a call back later that day, but must have slipped through the cracks. No big deal, just had to go elsewhere. I recommend highly, just do homework in advance.

I ordered some hard to find parts from Small Engine Warehouse. Very disappointed when I opened the box. The air filter looked used! Stained and brittle around edges. Immediately called and was put through to Amy in Customer Service. She sent me a link so I could send pictures for their team to evaluate. They did not have another one in stock and did not know when one would be available. End result: SEH gave me a refund for entire order, which included shipping and small spring! Couldn’t ask for better response. Only reason I couldn’t give 5-stars was I don’t think the used filter should have been shipped to begin with. I do think customer service is outstanding! Paul

Engine was listed as the replacement for Briggs & Stratton on a Huskee 22 ton log splitter. Output shaft is not long enough. Cannot use. No problem with ease of ordering, shipping time or quality of product.

Great service but lacking in knowledge of accessories to complete installation of engine assembly. Muffler, gaskets and bolts were not addressed and needed. Cost me days and dollars as you must pay shipping for returns and then again for correct parts. Engine sale and application was 5 star .

We do have a dedicated parts department to assist with helping you find a muffler for your application. It looks like you went online to purchase the muffler that would fit your engine. Mufflers can be a tricky thing to purchase and figure out because you must not only purchase a muffler that will fit the engine but also your application. If you ever need help with a muffler, please don't hesitate to call in and ask for our parts department. They should be able to assist you. They are a different division than our engine sales team. Engines were way too dirty. Had to clean them or customers would have been asking questions. One of them the cover was bent on it and hitting the flywheel. But over all I was satisfied.

I received a replacement engine from SEW recently. The tractor this will go into was almost destroyed by this past winter's snow and ice accumulations. The new engine will remain in its crate for some time as I work on repairing the rest of the tractor before engine installation. However, after talking to Seth, Ext. 116, I felt confident the engine would do what I wanted it to and would be as good, if not better, than the engine it was replacing. The engine from SEW arrived promptly and was packaged properly. So far, I have no complaints.

Mixed results from this purchase but overall positive. You asked, so I'll tell you. The site was easy to navigate and I found what fit my Troy-Bilt Horse tiller easily. Ordering the products was easy but at no time did I see an estimated arrival date. It could have been 2 days or 2 weeks. Fortunately it was 3 days. The tiller tines did not fit out of the box. They original tines and hub were curved and these tines had a flat mounting surface which appears to be a newer design. You should either sell both styles or at least identify which models it fits (using the further mounting holes could work but would only have bearing on the 4 corners. I ended up grinding a curve in the mounting face which was a lot of work but effective. I had a better experience with the engine. Despite having a single page of instructions it mounted easily out of the box. I had an issue because this engine uses a larger bolt to mount the pully wheel and the bolt was too short for this application. I drilled out the pully wheel and bought a longer bolt and made it work. This particular model was too big to fit inside the protective tube bumper. If I had to do it over again I would buy the XR1450 for $70 more and which is used in current models and appears to fit within the bumper. All that said, I put oil and gas in the engine and it started on the first pull. Everything works as expected. More effort than I expected but the end results were great.
