“Ordered a Briggs and Stratton 19hp to repower a customer's lawn tractors. Installed it on 8/14/26. After installing the engine, it was found that the engine wiring harness was not compatible with the existing harness. That afternoon, I called SEW to seek technical assistance with the harness and was advised that nobody would be available to speak with until 8/18/26. On 8/24/26, I finally received a return call from a person named Scotty. A message was left and I returned his call that day. I left a return message but have yet to receive another call back.”

“The Briggs & Stratton engine was received by my mechanic in a timely manner. He is still working on my zero turn cause he only does this part time since he has a full time job. He did text me yesterday to let me know it was going well, so hopefully I’ll get my zero back & test it out. The cost of the engine was a little high (widow on SS only) but since the shipping was free, it offset the cost & was tolerable.”

“I was a little nervous ordering the new Kawasaki engine, but it arrived fast and was the perfect fit. I bought an extra set of exhaust gaskets but the engine came with them. The motor doesn't come with oil. Had I known that, I would have added suggested break in oil when I bought the the engine. The break in oil is a little hard to find at parts / mower stores. Hopefully I won't have to use the warranty but I advise to keep good maintenance records so it's should be an issues. I would purchase again from this business. Hopefully my review gives you information to make educated decision if you need to purchase an engine. With shipping and the price of engine, with a 3 year engine warranty, they had the best price I could find on the internet and local businesses! Also, I did have replace a drive belt and spindle because the motor runs that much better.. so be ready to update some items on your mower and it's much cheaper than a new Zero-Turn for sure...”

“Ordering and delivery of engine was easy and fast. Unfortunately it was not obvious that the engine didn't come with any mounting bolts for standard configurations, and they were all different than the engine I was replacing. I recommend including a bolt assortment relevant to each engine when shipped to help those of us with fewer resources than found at a dealer. The engine itself is performing flawlessly after a few trips to the hardware store. Overall highly recommend, but the experience could still be improved with a few dollars worth of fasteners included with the engines.”

We apologize for any confusion regarding the mounting holes. Most new engines come with the mounting holes unthreaded, so self-tapping bolts must be used to thread the holes. Typically, customers reuse the mounting bolts from the engine they are replacing, which allows the new engine to be threaded to the appropriate bolt size.
