“Arrived quickly and was well packed/wrapped. Just installed. Everything aligns perfect. All wire connections were identical. Just plug and play. If swapping out a motor like I did the most important thing for me anyway is to make sure your crank shaft is the same dimension as the one on the mower and everything just slides together. If not you'll have to change the PTO/clutch and pulley to fit the different size shaft. Have not used as of yet to test but runs/sounds good”

“Motor runs great everything was exactly as described. Motor did get shifted in packaging during delivery also was a bit of oily mess. Luckily nothing was damaged. Does not come with the nuts to bolt on the exhaust. Also this is an almost perfect replacement for Kohler 7000 series on the bad boy magnum 54”. Wiring harness and all was plug and play. Also would be good help to have some direction to connecting the throttle cables had to do a little trial and error but got it perfect now.”

“Engine arrived on time and in good shape. Minor adjustments of mounting base to get it to fit. Very tight fit of crankshaft to flywheel, but it did work. Modified shield over muffler for clearance for throttle cable. The only real complaint is the throttle cable. First, the holes had to be enlarged to fit the studs on the dash. Then the action of the cable assembly is very stiff and erratic. I have to manually assist it at the engine to get it up to the proper speed! Other than that issue, it seems to be a good replacement. The hood and side pannels fit with no issues. Mower deck works well with new belt supplied.”
