I am concerned that this is the best supplier. I had to have my meter changed to a Smart Meter months ago and was over £80 in credit, but since the change I have not been given a bill although I have written to them. Just feel is this safe as they are not replying.

Joshua processed my refund very quickly whilst I was on the phone. Hopefully the promised 10 day turnaround of refunded credit balance will be equally as quick and efficient. Solarplicity still hadn't sorted the issue with electricity readings being up to date on the system THO !! Joshua handle today's call far better than earlier efforts to resolve the technical issue previously raised

They illegally obtained my contact and tenancy details from SOT council when I moved into my property and used this to forge my signature on multiple documents and contracts which they claim I can't get out of for 25 years. They installed solar panels on my roof that have since been condemned as unsafe because they weren't even connected to anything, there were just live wires hanging in my electrical cupboard. Then they have the cheek to send bills for the so called energy I've used (quoting a meter reference number for a meter that doesn't even exist) and threaten to send bailiffs and take legal action for the "debt". When I called them up on it all they fell silent and have fobbed me off to a third party debt collector who themselves have even told me won't be working with Solarplicity for much longer because of the sheer number of disputes customers are having. Don't let them anywhere near your electrical supply - they aren't even licenced to be touching anyone's electrical supply or installing meters and the installation certificates they have sent me has been examined and proven to be fake. Absolute scammers.

I’m an agent and was helping a seller sell their home in California who had Solarplicity. My clients initiated the application for the transfer 2/26/21 and which was late in the game, about a week before closing. Our mistake! We will be closing March 30 all because of this solar company. Once you intiate The process to transfer your seller to the buyer be prepared to wait on long holds have dropped calls speak to representatives who are legitimately sound like they are stoned or drunk. Which looking at their reviews of working there is probably a requirement to make it through the day. At each step of the way which there are many many steps that representative does not know the next step of the process and tells you it’s a big surprise but someone somewhere will contact you once this stuff has been processed. Then be prepared again to wait on hold for a week of dropped calls and holds going dead silent and having no idea if you’re actually on hold or not. We had the seller myself the other agent and several representatives from Escrow calling daily and waiting on hold. What a complete joke! So we are closing an entire month late due to this company.

This company will soon be shut down it’s nothing but a scam praying on the elderly and vulnerable people my solar panels have been switched off my a qualified electrician who deemed them unsafe but I still get bills monthly showing actual readings which is impossible if I only have a grid supply then they send your accounts to a collection company who threaten you to pay up lol lots of people are saying the same things I think they are making up fictitious bills to send to a collection company because they know they are going to be shut down very soon

Where do I start? I had two failed appointments to fit smart meters by Solaplicity, they said if I wasn't in when they called I would be charged £30, so I asked them to pay me the same for each failed appointment, they agreed but they never came good with the money so I took them to the small claims court, and billed them for 10 hours of my time, a very reasonable £15 an hour, they never responded to the court summons so the judgement went in my favour, the eventually sent me a cheque for £175 which included £25 costs, however they tried to send me a final bill which included a charge of £175 for no apparent reason, of course I disputed this and after they went bust I thought that's the end of that, now like others I have CDS chasing me, I have sent them a recorded delivery letter telling them I have no intention paying their demand and to stop hassling me and if they want to persist in demanding the money then do so with court action, they have ignored that letter and are still sending texts emails phone calls, which if I'm correct I believe is breaking the law, I of course do not respond to any of their attempts to bully me and look forward to facing them in court but I doubt they will ever try

Mis sold contract by saying they were part of Warm Front Scheme when they were not. Took to Ombudsman who agreed contract was mis sold so cancelled. Never shown that displayed meter reading was total useage so paid twice! 1st reading = total, next = solar next = grid useage. So when changed suppliers gave wrong readings... (total instead of grid) then continued paying Shell for both useages until "sorted" by Ombudsman with guessed readings!! Even now the last time a meter reader came he argued wanting to use "total" not "grid" from Shell and he finally agreed to say unable to take reading. I photograph meter readings for proof of useage. FINALLY SORTED with second Ombudsman decision (against new supplier Shell) which altered meter readings to grid only, but Ombudsman refused to address outstanding Solarplicity problems. Started complaint with Solarplicity who went bust before I could return to Ombudsman. Ombudsman refuse to deal with Solar Panel Side as not part of their remit. Sent copy of contract with Solarplicity for panels (never seen this before or signed it). It says in unforseen circumstances neither party liable also can cancel with 2 weeks notice. So switched off panels and refuse to pay their made up bills which continued to go up for solar energy never metered at higher rate than I pay for my mains with Shell. Finally had letter in writing demanding payment - I replied (notice of Intention to Sue in County Court),saying if they do not stop sending me make believe bills I will sue them in Country Court for breach of contract with Ombudsman and Mis selling. To date no response!!! Also nightmare over meter which has 2 connections for mains; 2 for Panels and one further to send power to grid! Still waiting for meter change after 2 years which was last cancelled because of Covid 19!! Still have original documents given when Panels installed clearly stating "Solar Energy is free; also, they are YOUR PANELS." Complaints to Energy Scheme was useless as was going to Ombudsman! Empty promises never kept (no more bills and contract ended) Solarplicity also lied about signing contracts saying I was giving "installation approval.." and what energy you have used. Will this nightmare ever end??

I was scammed to having solar panels that will make my Bill's lower. For starters my roof was broken, the panels where not switched on till after few months. Then I was told my bill electricity and gas was £30 I did not believe as I was paying £80 from BG so I said I would set up a DF for £50 just in case. I was told I have one of those automatic meter reading things so dont need to give one. Fast forward my account has been sold to 2 new companies without my consent and I have been wacked with a £900 bill. I was told I dont need to pay anything extra for energy produced from the panels as it's a free government scheme however now am being charged. I was never informed that there was a 25 contract tied to this. I have asked for it to be removed as am not happy and I have been refused. Please do not fall for this scam.

Words cannot describe how disgusted I am with this company. I haven't been with Solarplicity for nearly a year now, I have letters and bills to show my final closing balance was IN CREDIT by £191. I even have a letter to prove they reduced my direct debit because of the little I used it. After several phone calls with Solarplicity they explained this would be paid into my account once I had switched to the new provider. 10 months later I am being chased by a company called CDS saying I am IN DEBT and owe £358?! - I explicitly checked with Solarplicity before switching what would be owed and was informed on several occasions that I owed them nothing and was IN CREDIT! I literally owe this company nothing and they are still pursuing a made up figure - absolute cons and CDS should be ashamed that they are even affiliated with this disgusting company. How they are able to get away with this is shocking.

I was changing supplier to E. ON in April 2019. However solarplicity stopped the transfer due to my outstanding debt with them. I immediately paid the debt and was told that the account was now zero, and the switch could now go ahead. Then several months later solarplicity says I still owe them £133. To this day I have a GDS solutions debt recovery company chasing me for the money. This is a debt WE DO NOT OWE. Criminal. Terrible company and it's no wonder they were shut down.

Crooks and thieves we left solarplicty in December 2017 and they are trying to get money from us even though we gave them final meter readings at the time. WE now have CDS global solutions threatening court action. With the volume of complaints on this and ther platforms. Why has nothing been done to prosecute these people is simply beyond me.
