I wish I'd read this page before buying time-critical parts from Sparesbox.
Exactly the same story as everyone else, they implied they had stock when no-one else did, then ignored my requests to expedite the delivery or switch to an in-stock alternative. I immediately raised a dispute with the bank and asked Sparesbox (in quite strong language) to cancel the order. A week later I got a refund. Lucky thing, because the bank was chasing corroborating documentation which I would have struggled to provide.
Lesson learnt - even though I had bought from them before, NEVER again.”

“Going by my experience and that of many others listed below it is clear that this organisation engages in misleading and deceptive conduct in that they advertise and and receive payment for items that they clearly do not have in stock. Given the hundreds of transactions that would be processed in this manner each day they have a good sideline in investing your money on the short term money markets as they have essentially have access to 'free' funds for as long as they can string you along with the line that there are 'unavoidable delays in the delivery of goods'.”

“I honestly believe this is a scam company to take your money and hold on to it until the complaints force them to refund. I doubt they actually have any products, just pictures on a website to fool the unknowing. They put prices up that are well below anyone else to pull you in and screw you over. Shop elsewhere and always do your research.”
“Ordered a radiator for a MINI R53 Cooper S, said it was in stock and that delivery would take just 5 days. Two weeks later, the item arrived bent like a banana and damaged beyond use. A search of the website yields no telephone number to call, forced to submit an online form, now told I will wait 6-10 days for processing. Utterly disgusting. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS WEBSITE - RUN!”
“Very poor service. I been using them for a while now but since last 12 months their service is very bad. Once you paid for the product they will delivery system is extremely slow. So cased I am waited for a month. First I though it was due to covid situation but now I understand they are selling item who are coming directly from China, hence the slow service. Worst thing is they don't even reply to emails. This is the last time I bought from them. Never again. Good luck if you buy something from them specially if you need part in urgent.”

“I ordered parts from them and days later got an email saying they wont be getting stock of that part until the new year. no specific date given.
Usually I would say these things happen, or cancel order for refund, but they do this all the time. I was warned by people with a similar car buying similar parts that they had to wait months. If you look at trustpilot reviews, they are full of complaints of massive delays.
The customer service never responds after the initial email.
They know they cannot meet the delivery window but continue to say it to get the sales.”

“I enquired about a full set of O2 sensors in my 2006 pajero, I already had the part numbers and confirmed them with the OEM website. There is no phone number listed on the website, the only option is to log an email ticket. I logged an email twice in 3 days and still took over a day after the second email to reply back BUT when they did they had the nerve to ask for information about my vehicle that I have already supplied in the ticket, ie: make, model, year, series, engine size, fuel and transmission, INCLUDING EXACT PART NUMBERS.
