“A slight delay in sending the order which, from past experience, is unusual. However, order safely received and very happy with items. I was worried, after reading previous feedback, but they did not disappoint. So happy, as I always used to be. So glad they are still trading.”

“I've used this company for the past 5 years and love it. The variety of products is great and means I can get all my ingredients, pastes, fresh produce and other necessities all in one place. The customer service is really what makes it - the recommendations for associated products and advice of what ingredients/extras to pair with my dishes has improved my cooking a bunch!! Thanks :-)”

“I agree they are not good at communication - no phone number and no email address, and no response to my three on-line queries. However, allowing for a holiday period over Christmas, and a reasonably common return to work date of 6 January, I cannot complain. I received a delivery notification on 6 January, and the goods, just as ordered, on 7 January. If they had just told me they were on holiday over Christmas, or even acknowledged my messages, I would have had no complaints.”

“I ordered. After more then two weeks, no delivery (to Belgium). Sent an e-mail. Answer the next day. Some items of my order were out of stock and they were waiting a delivery from India. They proposed to send the available goods and make a refund for the unavailable. A few days later I received the goods, properly, well packed. Without any (track-and-trace) communication from GLS, the parcel delivery company. So; it took a while, but finally all good and not a scam.”

“Received my order one week after being told it was with Parcelforce. It contained Bikaner Papads with a Best Before Date of January 2020. It is June now, when I complained I was told that their Website clearly showed the BBF date. Will not use this company again.”

“One order appeared to get my PayPal payment through but their website failed me. The company never informed me the order was pending awaiting payment and I had to contact them a week later. Also they messed up an order and charged me for two items that weren't received on a later order which was very late arriving and I had to chase it up. They don't use a reliable courier and my order was nearly delivered in error to a wrong address due to the courier being over stressed and making mistakes. I stopped doing business with them as they were obviously disorganized and hopeless at the job of online shopping.”

“Order and delivery were without issues however I was really surprised at how much it cost. For example A small bottle of a soya £2.75/-, while in another supermarket £0.45/-.”

“Really bad - took 2 hours for the food to arrive and the person I spoke to was extremely rude. Do not use it”

“Dreadful. Invoice said Order would be delivered in 3-4 business days. Received nothing. Emailed them a week later to follow up - received no reply. Three weeks later I received a text message from Parcel Force stating my item would be dispatched the following day. Tracking Number on the Parcelforce website said "Item not received". Sent another email to Spices of India - no response of course. Thankfully paid via PayPal so escalated - awaiting investigation. All, please report them to Trading Standards. Disgraceful customer service. In fact, it is NON-EXISTENT. Save your money, save your blood pressure, save your time. Also if you are the fortunate few who do receive the item(s), check the Expiry dates!”

“ONE YEAR OLD PRODUCT I just seem to be another victim when I read all of the other reviews I did buy 4 bags of "Nestle Coconut Milk Powder', 1 kg and 14,25£ each. I was not sent an order confirmation, was not aware that Spices of India does sell old products (in this very case BBE 3/2019) and consequently had no opportunity to review and/ or cancel All Spices of India say is: It was clearly stated on the web page – the invoice ‘Line Item’ is created from the ‘Basket Item’ No apology, no free return and refund offer”

“I ordered 30 cans of coconut milk, arrived on time but it is all rancid. They all have expiry date in 2 weeks, which normally i don’t consider to be an issue as long as the product is good, but not in this case. They don’t care about the law and consumers’ rights. I asked for return and refund but they refused. I wish there was a way to get the money back. 50 pounds is gone”

“Absolute negative response , take money but don’t deliver goods . Will take them to court ( small claims) to return payment .... DO NOT RISK SENDING AN ORDER ...”

“Used them for a business to business purchase. They sent less than half of what I paid for and ordered with a note on the delivery paperwork saying the rest would follow. It didn't. Tried emailing multiple times to get my money back. Nothing. Tried getting a phone number to call them on. No reply. If this wasn't a 'business' transaction, it would be considered theft. Total cowboys and I would recommend you never use them. If you are reading this from Spices of India, I dare you to challenge this. I have proof.”

“Wish i`d seen this site before i ordered from this company. No order arrived, + no replies to my emails. So disappointing. Have just openened dispute with paypal to try get a refund. My advice to anyone thinking of ordering from these people DON`T, just DON`T.”

“Do not use this cheating lying company. I paid extra for Express delivery and waited almost 2 weeks for their overpriced rubbish. They banned me from there page when I protested and ignored my messages.”
