I was with staff heroes for one year. Unlike other agencies such as Host, Evolve and Off To Work, they don't provide regular shifts. I would do two shifts every month with them then use other agencies to do extra shifts. They've changed the app and the new app is rubbish, the old one was miles better. They also take too long to respond to messages. The only good thing about them is they've increases their pay to £9+ while before it was £8.03.

Have only been with the company for 2 weeks and it seems to be a bit quiet in terms of shift availability. It’s ideal for if you need flexibility in your life and extra income. But I would just be wary of where you end up doing your shifts.

Some nice places to work. But staff heroes does not provide many shifts like TempTribe and other agencies and I think that’s what they can try to improve. I like how you can apply for shifts straight away instead of waiting to be approved like with other agencies and that you get paid weekly.

Very good idea and app, however jobs seem to come up in emails quicker than the app resulting in my missing out on jabs and others snapping them up. I

The application is pretty easy to use and there are some jobs available. However, there are certain factors that may improve usability from the point of view of Staff Heroes. The "Reject" button should be replaced with "Hide", I believe this is more accurate since we are not personally rejecting the job. The option "Show jobs in other categories that require no previous experience" gets re-set every time you come back to the main job search screen after clicking on a specific job. Distance filters (5 miles, 10 miles etc.) seem to not work at all, it would be great to have all jobs shown on a map. I cannot see the rating of companies and most jobs advertised are not related to my work experience. It would be helpful to have all jobs listed in separate folders, such as "Waiter", "Bar Staff", "Host", "Stand-by" or perhaps to add more search filters. Apart from Wembley Stadium, most jobs seem to be in West or South London and further away.

SH made me happy by giving me the opportunity to work at the prestigious Wembley Stadium. I had a fun shift on the 5th floor. Bit chilly, but other than that, it was good. Thank you.

great induction but poor and slow communication afterwards. Also had a shift that started late and was very unorganised on the management at (Intercontinental at the O2) and when I rang Staff Heroes they told me to get to work in a rude and stressed out tone. I explained to them that no management was approaching us and the young man kept telling me it doesn't matter find someone and get to work. Someone at Staff Heroes also called me at the start time to ask me where I was... followed by a text message an hour into my shift asking if I am there or not and to confirm if I attended... like I can answer when I'm working?!

I think the agency is quite fine, but I think there might be some improvements like for example a button to ask info about a job in the same spot of the job offer; it’s might be easier for you and for us ad well; and I think it could be a nice idea and motivation if we can see what the employers think about our performance, or at least how many stars they are giving us!

Really good and reliable agency. Biggest concern is the change in payroll that I’m getting payed every two weeks instead of one week. But overall, very good.

Hi there, Thanks for your feedback. The issue was that some of the larger customers were unable to approve in time for payroll which led to complains for Heroes which forced us to update the payroll schedule. I hope it won't be too big a change. Thanks again for the positive comments Staff Heroes

Take this as a view from constructive point of view please : The first thing I was not happy as a hero when I came to register was having the meeting in the lounge along side other potential heros ,would have liked to meet you in the office and have a one to one meeting with your staff The rate of pay in general is not competitive enough in the current market to attract skilled chefs who will represent staff heros that much better with clients . The good thing is you get the notifications of jobs all day On the profile page should have a skills tick list to include specific skills in my case could be skilled in specific cuisine etc so as to give the client a choice . Liked the fact that you are venturing into new markets (football venues) and offering training which will open new avenues .

It took me quite a while to adjust my profile, work history and references before I was then able to actually receive my first job. But I look forward to receiving some shifts.
