“The course was fit for purpose, with clear instructions and no glitches. Some constructive feedback would be to remove the reference of 'she' to boats. I know as a worker in the maritime sector that boats are 'she's' but I would try and move away from this in a training situation.”

This tradition relates to the idea of a female figure such as a mother or goddess guiding and protecting a ship and crew. And we wish all seafarers, male or female, safe sailing and returns.
