“It was not easy to start the course, extremely difficult as there seems to be alot of bugs on the system, constantly asking me to re login again when i logged in already but had to log in again to start the course which i found a bit silly and then the sytem kept in saying error with the password which was wrong because my password was correct when i registered so it look me over 2 hours from start to finish to actually start the finish”

“It was easy to apply but very difficult to start the course, there are some errors in the application which goes beyond my knowledge. But I got great help from support team and after several tries I could start the course.”

“Very slow and apparently glitchy website - caused me to accidentally purchase the course I required twice. The course itself was pretty lacking in instruction - video clips did NOT state you had to click on their viewing area to continue the course”

“More questions That were ask were not taught in the course program... I would like the assessment system to be based on the learned knowledge. For example the ISPS was not explained but there was a question about it... Above it all the course setup is great and interactive I'm looking forward to my next course and learning with ECMT STCW online. Thank you”

“I think that it is expensive for what it is. The initial film on the first course (Security Awareness for Seafarers) should have had English subtitles from the beginning. I am a native English speaker and I found it confusing. We are supposed to promote clear communications and this wasn't clear. The second course that I did: 'Crowd Management', Chapter 6, I did the first quiz at the end, each answer was highlighted as 'correct', at the end it stated that I had only achieved 50%! I did it again, same thing. I continued the course and finished, the 50% mark was not held against me. I find that very odd. I have one more course to do.....we will see. I did find the footage from the Costa Concordia very useful. I have been onboard during real events 1997-1999: Man Over Board, Fire Onboard and Running Aground....fortunately the crew on the ship I worked on were excellent and was nothing like the chaos on the Concordia.”

“- The answers of some questions in the test have not been shown in the training sheets - Once you arrive at Chapter 6 page 34, there is a question about stability calculation. If you click on the 'Answer' button the answer is given, but since I am an engineer, I would like to see the question again. That is not possible unless you start the training again from the start. - When succesfully finished with the test, the screen appears with "Successfully completed the: Crisis management and human behaviour Refresher Training" Is a little confusing.”
