“I give this course 2 stars. The questions were not about the course. Asking about which code is responsible for making us learn fire fighting has nothing to do with Crisis Management and Human Behaviour, it is irrelevant and was not in the presentation. I don't know why this course exists because I covered most of the information in my Crowd Management course. It is redundant to me. I only did it because it was a requirement.”

“Required awareness level course. Short, simple. No support for Firefox browser and could not open this on my laptop. I had to use my wife’s desktop computer with Chrome instead.”

“I was disappointed with the Crisis Management and Human Behavior training as it was VERY much like the Crowd Management course I did and I thought it was way over priced. Would definitely recommend others not to do that one for this reason.”

Thank you for your review. The Security Awareness training, which is mandatory for each seafarer no matter what their rank or background is, covers the basics laid down in the IMO model course. Depending on the tasks on board, the courses Designated Security Duties and Ship Security Officer requires a more profound and in-depth knowledge.

“Great & fast assistance if you Need help. The portal where to perform the training obsolete. I did the course however at the end did show up I didnt make It. A simple online process became quite long. Again big thank to customer care assistance.”

“Courses are repeated like same explanation is given for both crisis management and crowd management”

Thank you for your review, appreciated! Content of the Crowd Management course is repeated in the Crisis Management course, so far this is correct. However, several topics are added to the Crisis Management course. To name a few, Organization and Handling of Emergencies, Optimizing Resources, Managing response during Emergencies etc. All in line with the IMO Model course 1.29. “Found the course very well put together and interesting, but had trouble Connecting from my iPhone. Had to wait until I arrived home to use a Mac.”

Thank you for your review and sorry to hear that you had problems with your iPhone. The setting of Apple devices often block the opening of a new window required to start the course. A simple change of setting as instructed in our sign-on welcome mail and FAQ page usually solves the issue. It is good to hear that you managed and thank you for using STCW.online!

“Please make your certificates to look more professional & aesthetically acceptable. Also, provision of hard copies should come with the course cost automatically. Most employing companies want hard copies and I think once the client completes the online course then immediately you should forward them the hard copy to their stipulated address without delay. Kind regards,”

Thank you for your comment Vusumzi! The content of STCW certificates has to be according the approving authorities. Design is always a matter of taste, some prefer an old fashioned style and some prefer a modern style
