I'm supposed to do 2 courses and the one other course link says it was opened already i could not do. I send an email and I did not get a response, I tried calling the number does not exist. Rethabilekhashane@yahoo.com

Course is super Old. It needs to have a renewed version of it. Should be up dated after few years

Although I was happy to find this course, I found many issues. A major one is that you cannot go backwards in the course. You cannot redo it once it is done. Maybe you can, but then it is not clear at all how to, as I could not find it. 79 € for a one time experience is very expensive for an on-line course. Because of this I was very disappointed.

Good Day! As an officer with more than 20 years of sea service i count all these "mental" courses as some kind of hypocrisy coz we live in a world of commercial pressure with all these consequences arising thereafter.It does not mean that it was always so bad but money is the first issue there.I have said enough and i will not go in details because my opinion will change nothing .

The course is out dated. Many statistics from 2018 and references to technology that is no longer or at least now infrequently used on modern vessels. 2 stars because it was a very easy and streamlined process to buy, enroll and complete the course online.

Very expensive and quite repetitive. I’ve learned almost nothing new. At the beginning you just get showed Movie Trailers and not even all in English. The test are way to easy.

For them, the age of the content is not a concern as long as the training effectively conveys its intended message. While incidents like the Herald of Free Enterprise and the Costa Concordia tragedy occurred some time ago, their causes and outcomes remain highly relevant from a learning perspective. We spent so much money on this course, and it was less than an hour long. The course fee does not correlate to the course contents.

Hello Ons, after a course is completed you cannot change your personal details anymore in case you made a spelling error. This is to avoid possible fraudulent action. hi, the course was more then great, but I much struggle to find ,how to start de course, was not start button anywhere, I pres all options I found on display , I check on you tube , there was no such information, how to start the training, beside of this I entered on the platform and payd the course second part of the day , after I paid I could see my course and payment was available just for that day and, J panic when I see I couldn't start the course and my availability of the course it will expire end of the day , anyway all good in the end somehow I found a way to start , the ideea us : it was much easier if was a way to read how this platform works, if I can log off and when I can restart what I did and what about this expires dead line

The course is pretty good but the process of paying and registration is horrible. The website needs to be improved.

The course was very user friendly but I did not find it very informative and was rather put off by having to watch Hollywood movie trailers as part of the course.

The training is largely stigmatizing especially against people of African and Arab origin. A "pirate" always portrayed as "savage" black person and especially the photo of the "pirate" standing in front of a ship, of black skin and wearing a Kaffieh. The Kaffieh is the traditional Palestinian scarf and thus this image stigmatizes both blacks and Arabs (particularly Palestinians) as "savage" criminal pirates. STCW should be more considerate on what symbols and images to use in order not to stigmatize and criminalize those already constantly marginalized along racist lines.

Took too long get support for not being able to log in. Log in infrastructure wasn’t good at all and I heard multiple complaints from other people.

Thank you for your review. Although some material may give an impression to be 'outdated', the content is still very relevant for gaining knowledge regarding maritime disasters. For instance, the Costa Concordia disaster was used as a case study in the course you took. Although this event took place in 2012 it is still considered as a showcase for Crowd and Crisis Management training on board ships. Thank you for using STCW.online and safe sailing!
