Dear John. Thank you for the review and I am sorry to hear this. I have looked into this for you and can see the initial order was placed on 13/03 and delivered to you on 18/03. You returned the shoes back for an exchange but because they had been worn we unable to accommodate the exchange request and resent them back out to you. “The name of the company is misleading, especially if searching through Google. Description says the shoes I bought were 1kg per pair when in actual fact they are 1.7kg per pair. Not very comfy either. Disappointed all round!”

Whilst we are called Steel Toe Boots, we do stock a vast range of footwear and do clearly specify on all our listings the item specifics as specified by the manufacturer and whether the item has a safety toe of any kind.
