Blurry, bad quality posters masquerading as prints. Terrible customer service. Grotesque pricing. Never ending sales. His Facebook live thing is like QVC, but with less quality products. He’s a greasy wee conman. Luckily his position in the art world exists only in his kind and on Facebook. It’s not like galleries are clambering to hang his stuff, which is why he opened his own. There should be a 0 Stars option.

I can only assume that it is his aggressive marketing strategy and to a lesser degree Scottish patriotism that is driving his sales and not the artwork itself. I know art is subjective but to my eyes these look like paintings done by a year 9 student, a cascade of jarring colours and amateur brush strokes set against tacky gradients. It saddens me that these laughable paintings are selling so well when there are so many truly talented artists out there struggling. I know I sound resentful but I am just sick to death of his smug face repeatedly popping up in my social media feeds alongside his abysmal artwork, he must be spending a small fortune on targeted ads.

He's not an artist in anyway shape or form, he's only interested in making as much money as possible from prints, he's so cheesy and knows to suck up to the public is to get sales. He's no artist!

I bought one of his pictures as I valued his work on it . Now you’ll see it on suitcases , place mats and various other places which has devalued his work so much . I say stupid and totally inconsiderate .

Bought a print which I love, but, cannot find a suitable frame to fit. Buying a framed print was far too expensive. Any suggestions?

Ordered two Signed Collectors prints for my daughter’s bedroom but so disappointed. They are just posters on cheap poster paper, the signature is even printed. Thought I was getting a bargain in the sale but sadly wish I hadn’t bothered.

Bought a print for my wife's birthday. She did not like it and I therefore wanted to return it within their 28day returns period. However because I was unable to advise them that I wished to return it within 10 days of its receipt, they would not allow a refund. There are not many companies surviving these days with such a poor level of Customer Service. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I like Stevens work, I have some of his artwork in my home, but the recent news on his threats to another artist is appalling. He acts like he owns the template or the sole rights for multi coloured highland coos, or other derivatives of his paintings...Nessie, Stags etc Healthy competition is good, just look back in history at some of the greats, they may have painted a landscape, or portrait, but in their own style....it’s not a crime. Kids in School draw multi-coloured art, does he want to threaten them too. I’ll be purchasing future works from other artists. Shame on you, Mr Brown.

I ordered two large prints, waited the 10 or so days, still no prints, tracking number did not work, so contacted customer services, they then informed me my package was delivered the day previous, it had been left at my back door, as I was not in, considering I was in all day, and I live in a flat, on the 1st floor, with no back door, I SERIOUSLY have my doubts about their honesty, it seems this is a scam to steal our monies, and brings Steve Brown art into question. So DISAPOINTED

I don't like the pictures, fair enough. I had one bought for me, and was shocked at the price for the poor quality of the reproduction. It is little short of a scam, when you can by original artwork rather than glorified poster prints at this price.

Overpriced poor quality goods- I have spent a fortune on his large prints which have faded within 6 months of being on my walls (indirectly from sun)- I bought a calendar recently as a gift- took 10 days to arrive! I have lost faith in his goods and have started buying better quality canvases from another artist- who has excellent customer service and after sales!

Utterly useless combination of retailer and delivery contractor (FEDEX). Received a text from FEDEX my canvas would be delivered the following day. Stayed in all day. Telephoned FEDEX as the day went on.. Fedex helpdesk said it couldn't help me but they would email the local office. Stephen Brown Art claimed the FEDEX text was wrong and I would receive the canvas the following day…. Stayed in all day again. At 4.45 I checked on Fedex site for an update which stated they had tried to deliver it but no one was in... I was in all day!. Telephoned Stephen Brown Art immediately... told it was too late in the day. I asked them to call me before 11am the following day with an update on what had gone wrong, but I would be in meetings from 11am and unavailable..BUT under no circumstances was Fedex to try and deliver the package as the house would be empty from 11am. Arrived home that evening at 9PM to find a note in the door from Fedex saying they'd tried to deliver at 13:55 and to telephone this number for a FINAL delivery attempt.. the nerve of them! Telephoned Steven Brown art was told someone had (tried to) email me the previous day asking how i wanted to proceed? Double checked in box no email! lies lies lies… told Fedex would try again but I would have to stay home again as they wouldn't even meet me on a morning or afternoon slot.. so 3 days lost/re arranged work for a lousy canvas.. and given they'd completely hashed up the previous attempt why oh why would I trust a new delivery slot! Sorry Steven Brown Art you need to sort out your delivery partner and also your customer care Will go to a shop and buy something else for my wall

Wish there was a zero star option, terrible customer service. I ordered a canvas ,10 days later I received a shipping notification email, only when I clicked on the link there was no tracking number, after contacting customer support,I was told that they could not ship to my country and I could either supply UK address or have a refund. This is despite the website clearly stating that they shipped all sizes to my country. I asked 4 times for a refund or an update on my refund without reply. I opened a case with Paypal and they refunded within 2 hours. It took 1o days to receive a shipping notification and another 2 for them to tell me they couldn't ship it,the canvas was for a present so I am extremely disappointed in the way this company handled my transaction.

Beautiful print - the 1st of many planned orders to decorate our new business premises, all was well until I requested a VAT invoice which they failed to provide with all the legally required information on even though I gave them the information they need to add on to it by law, simple things like their address! as a result if you're a business you can't claim the VAT back. Despite e-mails requesting a legally valid invoice they couldn't provide one and eventually rudely told that was all they could do. Extremely poor customer service and have reported them to HMRC for acting illegally. Also if you do order from them expect to get inundated with marketing e-mails every day!

I bought a Steven Brown gift card for my elderly mum and used it to order a canvas for her. When it arrived she decided she preferred another she had seen and Steven Brown kindly said they would supply the replacement at the same sale price once the original had been sent back. I returned it and the refund was made to the gift card. I then tried to reorder, but the card showed as expired although the refund had been credited to it. To cut a long story short, their customer services then refused to supply the replacement at the sale price and said they could do nothing about the gift card as it was purchased from the website before it changed hands. Very poor show. leaving us around £50 out of pocket. Not acceptable, and my loyalty points also seem to have vanished, meaning another few £s out of pocket. Not an acceptable way to run a business.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I'm glad that he found therapy in painting. He has mass marketed his coos and zoos just to make money from gullible people. If you want real art, go an see the work of a real artist. Why not commission a piece? It's not always as expensive as you might think. He got greedy.

Tacky AF. Every picture looks identical to the last. If it's not a multicoloured cow, it's multicoloured trees. Wife had to use customer service to complain about a mug that arrived broken, which took an inordinate amount of time to resolve (for the sake of £15 mind).
