Order didn't arrive, parcel never seemed to reach Royal Mail, so I also have reservations, like the other review, about it actually being sent. A replacement was finally issued after many attempts at reaching customer services. It still says dispatched on the tracking info 3wks later. Never reached Royal Mail either. Strange. Thankfully I did get a refund. Shocking service overall 😑

Placed an order 7 weeks ago but it never arrived. Contacted customer services who sent a replacement order which didn't arrive either! Shipping info has never updated and Royal mail seem to be still waiting on the parcels so I have doubts if they were ever even dispatched in the first place. They didn't respond to numerous emails and messages and each time I rang customer services they promised to get back to me with updates but never did. Absolutely abysmal customer service. Going to attempt to get a refund now as I don't think my order will ever arrive. Wish me luck... 😕

I spoke on live chat. Customer service is disappointing. I have never had such bad customer service from any other shop. They just want your money and don’t care after that! I will never buy from them again. Still waiting for manager to get in contact with me, if they ever do! I gave them one star as there isn’t an option for no stars.

The customer service is awful, they are breaking the law but their Customer Service Manager refuses to check this out:- Under the UK consumer law you automatically get a 14-day ‘cooling-off period’ when you buy something you haven’t seen in person. The cooling-off period starts the day after you receive your order, and there doesn’t need to be anything wrong with the item for you to get a refund. If you paid for standard delivery when you bought something, the seller has to refund this if you return it. Steven Brown is refusing to adhere to this. Please if you return something and dont get a full refund - log this with your credit card company and also with https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/. They are currently looking into this and the more people it affects the better. I can imagine they have retained 1000's of delivery fee illegally.

Customer services is very poor. I purchased a large canvass and noticed it was a miss print and the ears were chopped off. Despite being a regular customer who has purchased 11 prints and canvases they refused to replace the miss printed canvas. Needless to say they have lost my future custom and I will never recommend to anyone again. Totally disgusting attitude from this company.

I ordered wireless ear phones and a pack of three face masks. It said 10 to 14 days to arrive, headphones arrived on the 13th day, that's fine as in expected time. The face masks on the other had took nearly 4 weeks and 4 emails. 2 emails were polite and asked them when I would get the masks, but both times I had a standard and what seem to be an automated email back as both times they were identical emails which said they would be with me soon as coming from a different factory. After a futher week I sent a 3rd email asking when I would recieve the masks and if I didnt hear from an actual human I would go mad and demand to have a refund. To that I got an email saying they were looking in to it... but found myself asking a 4th time and that I wanted my money back. I had an apology from them and would get dispatch details soon. They never emailed me again I literally had dispatch details from the courier to say they would be delivering next day. So then I get the masks, they are absolutely huge, to the point they cover a full face and not even made nice to fit nose and mouth properly. So all in all I am certainty not impressed what so ever and will I bother to buy anything else from them.... NO! Appalling service. I wish I had read reviews before I placed the order!

brought the canvas for a Christmas present, order took almost 3 weeks to arrive (spent two days trying to locate it as it had been left with a neighbour!) unfortunately the present i ordered came on 15th December, given that Christmas is 25th i gave them the gift on the 25th!!! The recipient did not like it so i wanted to arrange a return, i did not receive a response so i posted this anyhow, i was then informed that i have missed the cut off date and that i would also then have to pay for the postal costs back to me! Why is it okay for a company to take over 2 weeks to post things to you, but they do not provide you with that same grace in timescales for returns, especially given that this was a gift! (and had i ordered any later it was likely that it would not have arrived on time!) The reason for return was the fact that ive paid 60 quid for a canvas no bigger than a piece of paper! then factoring costs of postal back and then should i want my order returned a further £10 on top!!! so thats £80 for a canvas that i dont want!!!!! Wouldnt bother with customer service because they dont actually care... overall would i buy from this company again...nah overpriced for what it is (A PRINT!) and the lack of customer service means i wont be a returning customer

Placed an order recently and realised I already had one of the colouring books so I emailed them within 30 mins of placing the order to ask to change it. They would not have picked up the order till the next morning and have refused to change the book. I have spent well over £400 on purchases however that's my last. Customer services are shocking!!!

When you view the pictures up close, cheap canvasses and printing.. I personally don’t like the art, buy a canvas yourself and some acrylic paint. It’s like art for children? Going by what his staff suggest he’s not to be trusted to provide quality stuff.

I have bought numerous Steven Brown items over the years including a canvas, cutting board, 6 small mugs 3 large mugs, biscuit tin and have been pleased, but recently one of the smaller mugs has had a crack by the handle and was replaced no problem- now another mug has now gone with the same defect apparently these expensive mugs are not built to last and as I have had it 9 months I cant expect them to last. Well considering I have mugs and other porcelain and China items which have lasted up to one hundred years -I believe I have a faulty batch -the mugs are not stamped so quality, or lack of it, is the issue here. Ask anyone from the Potteries where quality is stamped. Very unhappy with the attitude of customer service. Apparently quality and safety do not matter or happy customers for that matter, shocking.

I purchased Home - Collector's Edition Print - A1 / Black Frame. I did not realise that the glazing had not been put on my frame until months later. I contacted Steven Brown Art to be told that due to Covid -19, the frame makers were not working at that time. As Steven Brown Art have recently been advertising this product, framed, I contacted them again and this time I was told that I had made my purchase under the 'Old' Steven brown Art therefore the 'New' Steven Brown Art were not able to help. This despite that they are still selling A1 frames to date. It appears to me that Steven Brown Art are happy to take your money then do not care about any problems (of their making) that you may have. The level of customer support shown to me is not acceptable and the only course of action I now have is to show Steven Brown Art the same level of customer care by NOT making any more purchases from this disgraceful company.

Ordered facemarks on line. Delivery was not on time and the product was not fit for purpose. (I don't mean it wasn't full blown PPE I knew that) Mask adjusters were faulty impossible to thread elastic through. Company expected ME to pay the costs of sending them back before they would consider a refund having charged postage costs to send to me that were triple what they actually paid Royal Mail. Emails not responded to in a satisfactory way. Dreadful way to treat customers

Ordered a framed print over a month ago but just the print arrived. They agreed to refund me cost once I had posted print back which I did at my expense. Numerous phone calls since as no refund provided for framed print or additional postage I paid to send the wrong item received back to them. Promised refund x provided bank details but still waiting. It's a real shame as this attitude is very poor for the company reputation x It has now put me off recommending steven brown art or ordering again. Still waiting for refund!!

Have to say I was interested in an original painting only. I did find the prices particularly high plus I noted the prices of it before the firms 2019 collapse and after, I would be annoyed if I’d purchased them at top rate. I note they are starting to creep up in price now, but far too risky to spend oodles of cash on. Sorry, but whilst pleasing, the paintings are faddy and unlikely to hold value. They probably appeal more to the housewife looking to brighten up a room than an art critic.

Steven Brown Art is overpriced and not of a decent quality. He's more bothered about making money than providing art. He's already wound up one company into administration, this will go the same way. There are so many better 'artists' who deserve that title out there. Think before you buy.

I bought a Steven Brown gift card for my elderly mum and used it to order a canvas for her. When it arrived she decided she preferred another she had seen and Steven Brown kindly said they would supply the replacement at the same sale price once the original had been sent back. I returned it and the refund was made to the gift card. I then tried to reorder, but the card showed as expired although the refund had been credited to it. To cut a long story short, their customer services then refused to supply the replacement at the sale price and said they could do nothing about the gift card as it was purchased from the website before it changed hands. Very poor show. leaving us around £50 out of pocket. Not acceptable, and my loyalty points also seem to have vanished, meaning another few £s out of pocket. Not an acceptable way to run a business.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I'm glad that he found therapy in painting. He has mass marketed his coos and zoos just to make money from gullible people. If you want real art, go an see the work of a real artist. Why not commission a piece? It's not always as expensive as you might think. He got greedy.
