“I have not used Stride yet, so this review is only about getting to the site. I've tried from several computers as well as my phone. It appears you have to call in order to get actual help. If someone has an idea how to get into site after making a log in, please let me know. thanks”

“I have tried to contact the local agent through the email I received but it just keeps making me filler another enquiry form and I've had 4 welcoming emails from you but no way to start planning yet!”

“i kept getting a pop up telling me I can save $500 just sign up and I did and I kept getting the popup and there was no discount at all anywhere. With that said I think it ws usefull to compare companies”

“You cannot see what travel companies the member discounts apply to until you have signed up. I signed thinking I was going to get discounts on travel with Absolute Africa. It is not on their list of travel providers, so no discount. Therefore the experience for me was poor.”

Thanks for trying Stride and taking the time to share your feedback. I can appreciate your frustration that the operator you wanted does not provide discounts with Stride. So you know, we are not allowed to reveal to travelers which companies give discounts until you are a member. This is because the companies that do offer discounts do not want them to be 'public'. Stride is actively aiming to get operators to partner with us and hopefully Absolute Africa will soon offer rebates to Stride members. Hope that makes sense even though doesn't help you specifically in the short term. Gavin, Stride cofounder.

Hi Bonnie and thank you for trying Stride. I'm sorry you were disappointed with the selection of good rates. I can understand your frustration. So you know, currently about 45% of the roughly 15,000 trips on site are eligible for additional savings from Stride. We are working daily to increase that number. We choose to show all the trips, even those without savings, so that travelers can see if perhaps a different trip is a better fit for their style, preferences or budget. We make no money if a traveler chooses one of those trips so we show them to give you more choices. You can always choose the filter 'Stride Select' to be shown only those trips with savings. “It took longer than expected (3 days) to receive the reply. I'd already checked the trip provider's (Intrepid) tour details and I had asked specific question in my inquiry. Instead Stride got the trip provider (Intrepid) to send me same details that you can find on their website. Personalised customer experience was missing.”
