“It was good to find a room at a reasonable price. However, having been led to believe that the hire price was £50 it was like... Now we've got your interest, we're going to say it's FROM £50 and force the price up (to £100). I felt manipulated”

“This was a horrible experience!!! I do not recommend this website or the site we booked in LA, Neon Oasis. I booked and we were excited. We made plans accordingly. We requested the booking. The booking was accepted, the price requested was paid, payment was accepted. A few hours later, I received a text from the person in charge of the site, William, alleging that the prices on this website were incorrect and the amount I would have to pay would be more than twice the amount I already paid. I refused. We had a binding contract. Instead of honoring the contract and fixing their mistake for future clients, they breached our contract and refused to abide by our contract. I was issued a refund which would show up in my account within 7-10 business days. What?!?!?! William indicated that tagvenue was a new site and had messed up. We had to cancel all arrangements made and secure a separate site to complete the event. This is highly unprofessional and a huge waste of time. Before this site is up and running, they should make sure that everything on it is true and correct. William should have also verified this before advertising or approving this site to go live. Needless to say, we have retained legal counsel to pursue the difference between the tagvenue contract price and the cost we incurred to proceed with the event.”

“Very poor communication from a member of the Tagvenue team. Took multiple days and sometimes weeks to reply to messages. Trued emailing various company and personal emails and numerous phone calls without responses. Ended up going through the head office number a few times with the promise that I would be called back but often didn't. The venue and event ran smoothly on the night but it was incredibly stressful not having any confirmation from tagvenue until only a few days beforehand. It was especially annoying as we had turned down other venues who seemed far more organised and keen for us to host our event with them.”

“Really good, fast and effective way of finding venues, particularly in a rush. Generally, you get a response from individual vendors on the day too, which is great. The only downside is venues sometimes charge differently than advertised so always confirm price with the vendors first if you are doing a price comparison.”
