The website is simple to use and makes it convenient to compare different venues in one place, which saves a lot of time when planning events. It would be even better if there were more promotions or special rates when booking through the platform. For example, exclusive venue deals or venues that are only available on Tagvenue and not on other platforms would make it even more attractive for organisers. With venue rental prices increasing everywhere, having better pricing or special offers through the platform would really help small event organisers like us. “I needed to find a venue for a meetup with some old friends. My search queries to find a place in a city I don't currently live in, but did 20 years ago, were leading me down the path to madness until I found Tagvenue. It allowed me to refine what capacity I needed, what kind of venue (pub/restaurant/hall/etc.) I wanted, what area in London and for about how much everyone was willing to spend. A little more crossreferencing reviews for the options, quick menus reviews, nearest tube stops and we had 3 viable options which the group quickly narowed down to one. I used the Enquire Now function to get in touch with the restaurant and we're booked. Additional emails from Tagvenue were received almost immediately after submitting my enquiry to our chosen venue. First was one with tips on getting a higher % rate for securing a booking could be achieved by selecting multiple venues to contact instead of the one single venue as we had selected. Cool. Thanks for the tip. Then I received three more emails from other venues 'competing' for my business. Wrong area, wrong capacity, wrong price and none has the wider dietary requirements on the menu available vs the place we selected. Easily weeded out as superfluous and deleted. I didn't really like that happening but it was easy enough to find the settings in my Tagvenue account and turned that stuff off. If you're like me and prefer a cleaner email inbox, I'd disable unwanted communication options prior to your first venue enquiry but YMMV. So the thing got done. It wasn't all a magic carpet ride and there were a few bumps in the road along the way. I am curious to know if the average response times listed for the venues on the Enquire Now segment is even reasonably accurate as 6hr avg response time average was way off; Based on my personal experience it's more like 24-72 hours so I assume that's just a thing they put on the enquiry page. We're 3 months out from the date of our meetup so it wasn't a big deal but if I was looking for a venue within a week, it would have significantly affected our decision. To confirm the booking I had to wait a WEEK but that's not on Tagvenue AFAIK, it's on the venue itself... however, the response time STILL says avg 6 hrs. Huh... yeah. Based on my experience thus far, would I use Tagvenue again? Now that know what to expect - 100% yes. Note - I just noticed that below this text field on the review page, there is a question about how quickly did the company respond to your queries with static options only including: under 1hr, 2-3, 6-12 or Over a week. Right, how about --> None of the above?! ;P I just checked email timestamps and it was nearly 46 hours between my inquiry and their 1st response. I guess I will select Over a week so that they can under promise and over deliver. That way it doesn't feel like the avg response time doesn't feel like a fallacy.”
