“When charged £5 to book a rehearsal room normally costing £23 I think it’s a rip off’. The above was apparently a misunderstanding between the 2 party’s and has now been corrected. Full marks to Tagvenue for reaching out to clarify the situation. Couldn’t be more pleased.”

“The refund policy is an absolute money grab. I had to cancel a venue over a week out and only got a 50% refund, not a fan of this policy and will not be using this service again.”

Refunds on Tagvenue can vary quite a bit because they depend on each venue’s individual cancellation policy (over 17k venues on our platform), the type of event, and other agreements in place. That said, we completely understand how disappointing this felt from your side. For your particular booking, we reached out to the venue manager on your behalf, and they agreed to issue a full refund instead of the initial 50%. You should see the funds return to your account soon - depending on your bank, it may take up to 5 business days to appear. “Tag Venue is annoying and falls short. The place we booked was STELLAR. Tag Venue booked the wrong date for us and neither party could see the mistake. Fortunately the place we booked was SO GOOD and we were able to find a good resolution, but Tag Venue absolutely should not be able to profit off companies when they are actively making it hard for them to book. Also the amount of back and forth required using this platform so that Tag Venue positions themselves at the center of something that they absolutely aren't a part of is silly. Bad platform. Would not recommend.”
