“very useful site for finding venues!”

“To be honest, whilst I was happy that TagVenue flagged up the venue, of which I was not previously aware, going via TagVenue was a pain in the backside for the ongoing communication with the venue. If you're going to keep control of conversations - and I understand why you want to - then you need to remove all of the extraneous guff from the e-mails - use plain text versions, for starters - and the actual e-mail address of the venue contact needs to be available somewhere, so that we can choose to use it where necessary. It is extremely frustrating to have to remove all of the unnecessary rubbish from the e-mails just to have a conversation. I speak as someone who has run their own web-related company since 1998. I will not be fully using TagVenue again, for these reasons, I will simply go straight to the venue concerned once I've found it (quite possibly on TagVenue).”

“Brasserie Blanc Southbank were a pleasure to deal with and the service on the night was excellent. They were able to provide a projector and screen that was all set up when we arrived so we could proceed with the meeting that preceded our dinner with no problems. The slight issue we had was with the acoustics. The party in the private room next door was quite noisy and not very mindful that we were sharing a retractable wall. The staff at the restaurant did the best they could but it may be something to bear in mind if a quiet venue is needed. Otherwise, I would not hesitate to recommend them.”

“Disappointing ... food was not worth the cost (including a shop bought piece of panettone as dessert), service was patchy (sometimes rude), private room is attractive but toilet that went with it was out of order. No one replied to my feedback. Would not repeat or recommend.”

“We booked the Soda Bar for our Office Christmas Party (about 45 people). We were meant to have access from 5:30 and 6:00pm guests would arrive. At 5:50 the venue was completely empty, no decorations, no bar tenders and half of our drinks agreed in the package weren't available. The food was also served a bit late, but the quality was very good. In the end the people were pleased but I would recommend the venue to make sure they have stock in place (the excuse we were given was that they were busy and they had a prior event, but for someone who has worked in events for a while now, we know that's not right). Never touch the stock from the next function unless you can guarantee it to be re-stocked for the next one.”

“Fantastic venue, wonderful cocktails and food and incredibly accommodating and helpful staff. For a birthday party of 30-35 guests we could not have felt more looked after. We even got to play our own music! Wonderful evening had by all, would definitely recommend The Crosswall to anyone that asks!”
