Great for finding venues, but the invoice/receipt issued is an issue, as no billing company was tagged to it. Contacted the team for help but yet to receive response. I am unable to claim expenses from my company.

This was a horrible experience!!! I do not recommend this website or the site we booked in LA, Neon Oasis. I booked and we were excited. We made plans accordingly. We requested the booking. The booking was accepted, the price requested was paid, payment was accepted. A few hours later, I received a text from the person in charge of the site, William, alleging that the prices on this website were incorrect and the amount I would have to pay would be more than twice the amount I already paid. I refused. We had a binding contract. Instead of honoring the contract and fixing their mistake for future clients, they breached our contract and refused to abide by our contract. I was issued a refund which would show up in my account within 7-10 business days. What?!?!?! William indicated that tagvenue was a new site and had messed up. We had to cancel all arrangements made and secure a separate site to complete the event. This is highly unprofessional and a huge waste of time. Before this site is up and running, they should make sure that everything on it is true and correct. William should have also verified this before advertising or approving this site to go live. Needless to say, we have retained legal counsel to pursue the difference between the tagvenue contract price and the cost we incurred to proceed with the event.

The venue was great. The booking process was extremely frustrating. It took days for me to finalise the booking. There were repeated calls to call centres, staffed by people with poor language skills. I was never called back. My emails were left unanswered. There were miscommunications on all levels. One phone call to people at the restaurant would have saved me hours of frustration. The Tagvenue system is hopeless.

Tagview wasn’t bad but the manager I was dealing with was uncommunicative. She said I had the venue, a week later, when I finally began to talk details, she rejected my reservation because it didn’t meet their guidelines. I wish she had called me a week earlier and prior to me sending invites, which I now have to (embarrassingly) update

I booked one venue and was told it was unavailable, so I moved it to a second venue. Then I got a message the day before saying the room was unavailable (which was a message sent in error) When I arrived I was told I was I. The wrong place and should be at the first place I booked which I was told was unavailable. Total shambles

I arrived at my location Palm Villa, for my photo shoot to find the venue was double booked!!The owner of the venue, Zee, initially agreed to reimburse me for the money I paid the families who were to participate, the make up artist travel fee, and reimburse me the $300 I paid for the space. Then they blamed tag venue and said I need to get my money from them. I’m out of a photo shoot a venue and $300+ dollars. Poor Communication between tagging you and the venue manager.

First of all, very rude on emails and secondly, they charge twice and they take money from my your account without my consent! I hired one studio with £125 and they charged me twice from my account So in that day they took £250 from my bank account! This is unprofessional! When I asked for refund they said they will check, they found the mistake and they will refund,after 2 days, they didn't received the money but I have the proofs on pictures with pending payments When I told them I will bring them in the court or citizen advice and told them If they're scammers this it was a part from their email! ---any forms of false defamation can be grounds for legal actions from our side. Very unprofessional, I will never hire studios from their website in future I think I ve lost the money anyway!

The venue had no food, the room wasn't set up as requested. Had to get a move to a different room to get it as we wanted in the end. Also weren't allowed to bring any food in to replace the lack of being able to order dinner despite booking from 5:30 - closing. Disappointing all round.

Hi Sofia, Not a great experience unfortunately, mainly because of the price miss-communication caused during the process. The person that we’ve been in touch with over the venue hire has confirmed in 3 consecutive emails the total price being 2800gbp VAT exempt, to than send us a final invoice of 3400gbp VAR Mail exempt with no further clarifications. When calling to clarify, I have been told the final price would actually be 3400gbp and received no apology for the miss-communication. We had to reduce the overall time we were hiring the venue for given the sudden 600gbp price difference, given this shifted out of our budget. Overall a bad experience from the beginning. The prices should be communicated much clearer online. The price of 300gbp per additional hour of hire actually applies per room as well. Maybe try and reword this on Friday he website to avoid misleading future clients. Thanks, Teodor

Tagvenue listed my business without my consent after cold calling me. I asked for information to be sent to me via email, instead my business was listed. Would not completely delete it when asked, only unpublished the listing. Untrustworthy.

It's honestly ridiculous how hard it is to have Tagvenue remove your account without them dragging it out. I've been trying for 3 days to get my account removed with them and they just won't do it. Klara initially seemed helpful but she seems to only take notice of about a 3rd of each e-mail. I was hoping that I'd return to Tagvenue one day but Tagvenue have not lost a customer for life with their complete disregard for my wish to be deleted and increasingly terrible customer service.

Far too slow to respond. Averaging 1 message per day. No alternative to booking other than using this platform. For busy corporates, this categorically does not work.

ALWAYS ASK For TASTER PORTIONS for TASTER SESSIONS This rating is not for Tag Venue as I think the website is great. This rating is for the Ampersand Hotel in South Kensington. Firstly, the pictures show a large-ish room but it was not as large but we decided to press on with the tasting session we booked and if the food was great we might consider it. To my surprise they brought full portions for 4. Given we chose many foods to entertain 40-50 guests, we ended up with a lot of food wasted and at the end I was lumbered with an approx. £300 bill which I paid as the event organiser was not there to discuss. I honestly thought we were going to get taster portions. I also did not realise we would be charged for it. I have had events at Hush/M Restaurants and we had free taster sessions with taster portions so that was my experience. I asked for a refund or to split the bill but was declined. They do not know what it means to give taster portions/sessions and because the food was not all great for us, we decided against the venue but this decision was made on the day not because we were refused a refund.

This process was extremely arduous and overall a very poor customer experience. I’m not sure if you hold venues to any sort of SLAs but if you do, the majority of them are not meeting them. I found venues to be unresponsive consistently and I had to chase multiple times before taking matters into my own hands and just turning up at spaces to view. Additionally your filters do not match reality, a number of times I filtered by specific criteria, only to speak to the venue and find out that they didn’t meet those criteria. If you are going to run an aggregation service, you need to ensure that the supplier themselves are meeting a certain level of customer experience. It otherwise reflects very badly on tag venue

Never recommend for Party's. The venue is very look beautiful but there is no air conditioning so the outside temperature will effect.my party was on 16/7/21 and it was very hot on that day ( the outer temperature was nearly 27°c ) so we our cake on hotel fridges to keep cool. But they spoil the cake by put something on the top and the funny thing is they didn't took any responsibility that happens in there kitchen fridge. In between all the mess the manger is try to collect the rest of the money from me. They promise lot of stuff but you never get it.we need to go each time to ask things like more water, clearing the table etc and there is lot more things happen in between. Even they didn't reply for the mail which I send to them 2 days ago..
